I hope your salesman did a bad job with the sale in general to help justify the options you got. Being a jerk to guys in sales because of a delivery delay completely out of his control is just plain mean.

What are you planning on doing with the stock wheels? U selling them at all?

Reverend_ I feel for ya, I have had good sales people and ****ty sales people but I never whored the crap out of them during negotiation for one thing I can get stuff the way I want by doing it myself. My sales guy was new and didn't know much about how subaru works or the delays and etc, I could have been a dick and used that as leverage but wasn't his fault, and the idiots at soa were also dicking me around I of course bitched them out for lying to me and being incompetent at their job becuase wasn't the sales manager or sales person causing the hold up, it was them and their bs.
I think because your job gets such a bad rap as does my own being head of IT, ppl just always wanna kick your teeth in before you even have a chance to say hi. Unfortunate but I guess thats just the way it is.

As to answer any questions about whether or not any of my purchase tactics were warranted. My salesman constantly lied to me about random details, neglected to ever call me when he received new information pertaining to my specially ordered vehicle. I had to call him on a weekly basis, and make him check for updates during the delay period, and every single time there was a new piece of information regarding the car's arrival, that he had simply neglected to look in to and relay to me. I had a largely negative experience with the salesman, but the sales manager caught wind of all of this, and he was the one that offered me these compensations. I don't feel as though any of it was unnecessary. I think my questions regarding my first ever new car should be answered in a somewhat professional manner, and I don't think that's really that much to ask.

I actually had been considering it, in the interest of a set of thinner steel wheels for winter, but I probably wouldn't do so until the tires need to be replaced anyways. I figure that I might as well not get rid of a perfectly good set of tires, unless somebody wants to trade equal condition wheels and tires with a little bit of cash on top.

Sounds fair. Sorry he put you through that, but glad you were able to nab some nice goodies out of it!

Well... I've got a growing list of future mods again. Before I jumped into it, I thought I'd take a step back and think of all the stuff I've already done. I'm coming up on a full year I've had this car, so every time I see a Base Impreza 5-Door in ISM pull up to the store, I think "wow... my car has come a long way in a short time!"

That is a lovely list of modifications sir. What percent is your tint if you don't mind my asking? I like the way it looks a lot. I had been considering various exhaust options, the SPT is one of them after having seen what you did, but I may just try to snag my buddy's stock BRZ muffler after he upgrades. What tires are you running on your '11 wrx wheels?

Thanks! I've got 30/20 Tint (Nebraska Legal Limit) and 225/45R17s on my '11 WRX Wheels. If you do decide to install that BRZ Exhaust, I wanna see/hear it!

Reverend, how are you liking those Eagle GT's on the Impreza? I had a few sets of those on my Si and loved them. Was considering the F1 all-seasons, but the GT's are significantly cheaper..

I like the wheels, let people talk their trash. Lime green looks awesome on silver, and the wheels flow well with the body lines on the car. I would perhaps consider getting a decent set of black lugs to go with your green wheels.

Hello forum members. When I'm driving, sometimes I see "E/T 1:00" on my center display (where is displays the time, your mpg, etc). What does that even mean? Thanks!

it means you drove for an hour lol. that setting tells you how long you have been driving ever since you started your engine. the clock will restart when you restart your engine. it's useful sometimes when you want to figure out how long it exactly takes to get to point A to point B.

For each hour you drive on a trip, your Impreza's display will flash "1:00", "2:00", etc. I think it's a nice feature.
