An actual meet? I might actually try to make it to one.

Wink Someone said creepy old man...

Hiya boys

I'm actually driving both of the Subaru fleet these days. AutoX'd the SVX on Belle Isle a couple of weeks back. Missed driving the beasty.

I'm more available for meets these days. I'll look in from time to time.

The meet had weekly for many years. About a year ago I think it sort of died out. Too many people at busy and changing points in their lives to make time for a regular meet. But if the posts below are any indication perhaps we can start it back up and make it once per month.

Sooo, ye old balls members of the Detroit area...

I'm thinking B-Dubs for the sake of nostalgia. I've already been told by Gewnior that Tuesday is not a preferred day. Do Wednesdays or Fridays work better for peeps? I can't do Monday or Thursday currently and would like to be there to see everyone.

Perhaps better to plan a Saturday meet? Do an early lunch at 11am on a coming weekend? How about a late lunch around 2pm? Just thinking up ways to make it easy for people to show up and not have to deal with crowds of people.

Perhaps the best plan is just to set an initial day and time and hopefully people show up
The days/times you listed would work fine for me, though the BRZ is likely going to be put away tomorrow if the weather is as they are suggesting

Does anyone have a contact for Federal RS-R 595's (235/45/17r)? Looks like I ate mine. The winters might be going on early this year.

Where abouts? I live at commerce and green lake rd.

I'd be in for Wednesdays, that's the only day I could make.

Wednesdays work for anyone/everyone else? Wednesdays work for me.

Want to do 7:30 or perhaps 8:00 at B-dubs?

OK. Let's plan it.

Wednesday November 14th, 7:30pm at Buffalo Wild Wings at Fountain Walk in Novi.

If we get a decent turn-out and people want to start having regular meets again we can plan something there. At this point I'm thinking monthly meets might be best to keep people from getting burned out on meeting every week or always going to the same restaurant each week.

Between this and the email I sent out to those who don't browse NASIOC too often it looks like we may have 6-8 already planning to attend. I'm excited to see people.

I live in the boonies and I work too much. I don't get out much.

Just because your house backs up to woods instead of a major by-way doesnt mean it's "the boonies" :P

Yeah, but it takes me 20-30 minutes to get anywhere. When I was in Madison Heights I was already in "anywhere". Everyone that comes to visit, other than you, comments on how I live soooo far away. I moved 35 miles. Humorously, Woodward/Dixie is almost a straight shot between the two houses

Hi guys, my wife and I are new to the Subie crowd, but we love them to death. We haven't modded them at all (yet) but plan to over the next few years. It would be cool to meet some other Subie fans close by. We are surrounded by the kinda people that look at you funny when you say you drive a Subaru

We live up by the Fenton / Swartz Creek area, which isn't too far out, but we work most days from lunch until 9pm/10pm, so attending meets could be tough. How late do you guys plan be there on the 14th? We'd have to haul ass, but could get down there by 10pm, at the earliest.

Anyway, my name is Chris and hope to see you guys out there on the open (and perhaps closed) roads!

EDIT: Just realized this is my wife's account.... SMH

Not sure if people will be there that late, but who knows. We haven't all gotten together in quite some time, so we could be there awhile. We've had meets that lasted all of 1.5 hours and some that lasted for 5 or 6 hours. I suppose if I remember I can check the phone and this thread next week and you can post before you head down and I'll try to let you know if it's worth making the drive.

Where abouts in the Fenton/Swartz Creek area are you? I have family in Linden on Silver Lake and I grew up on the Flint/Swartz Creek border (Rankin/Mundy Twp).
