I took a little timing out near peak torque to make it a bit safer in that knock prone area, but otherwise this is a very aggressive tune. Darrell has a lofty goal of an 11 second pass in his stock turbo WRX so I focused on the mid range and top end.

He ran a low 12 without meth on the pump gas tune I made. This is a good sized step up from that so we'll see what happens. I also enabled launch control to help with consistency on the launch. Go Darrell!

can you post before and afters? i think the HP went up like 19 and 48TQ but the mid range is there larger increases from all the boost and meth?

and Darrell can list all your mods, i think theres a few missing

iirc the gains look good after all that and with the new clutch 11's could be had.

Yup I forgot he mentioned his clutch was slipping some at the track. That had to be hurting, but who knows how much.

thanks! thats some good lookin gains for just meth and some boost. i take it the 650cc handled all that ok? i woulda guessed he'd need 850's or 1000's. unless i take it meth doesnt work like E85?

The methanol is injected by an external system made by Coolingmist called their CMGS kit for WRX/STI so the meth isn't flowing through the stock fuel system. It is also controlled independently. Meth is being injected on the cold side end tank of the intercooler in this case.

I snapped a pictured after we performed the install. You can see the nozzle for the meth kit on the right side end tank on the intercooler with a clear hose coming off it.

No sir. He was aware of the issue and the cooling limitation of the stock intercooler so that was upgraded quickly.
