I'll try it will the smaller plyo box and no rocking for awhile and see what I think.

I think my PB today (assuming just one warmup set) would be ~200. But I was spent from prior sets and my only rest was to get the extra plates on and ask the guy for a spot.

That PR is defunct. It's your all time best but your current PR is 185.

I dunno man. Weighing under 200 lbs. Benching under 200 lbs. You're starting to look pretty to me. *wink*

I was really able anchor down and pull with the Wide stance. Granted I was no where near as wide as Alex

Nice work Suby! Something about dropping more downwards towards the bar with sumo compared to hinging back feels more comfortable to me too (probably my old man hips and my inability to consistently find the groove).

Are you going to harass me for not being swole, brah?

I haven't put more than 185 on that bar because I never have a spot. But yes, the most I have benched in the last several years is 185. I weigh 175.

It's one thing to mock me. But it's entirely another to reference tranny porn and then post unlinked derp faces.

Poor form, man. Poor form.

Nothing wrong with a bw bench as long as it's a stepping stone to 1.5x bw, 2x bw, and so on.

Well, then go ahead and judge/mock. 1.5x, sure, but that's all I can see myself doing. I'm old enough (36) to appreciate that joints and connective tissue aren't as resilient as muscle and skin. I am not willing to risk mobility 10-15+ years from now to try and peak at a 400lb bench three years from now. I'm not judging others--I'm just saying it's not for me.
