Default How many here are 30+yr/old and have a wrx?

Just as the title says. I like my bugeye but wonder how many people above 30 year old have a wrx and what mods do you have exterior wise?

I'm just wondering because this will dictate how I build my car when I pay it off. Im currently 28 and like the racer look, but not sure if it would look cool when im above 30, (ex. too boy racer)

I'm 32 and am stg 2 with a tune on my 05 sti.
I plan to do coilovers (stock struts are clunking)
and different rims, plus tints. Nothing to crazy, but I love the car.

36, 2017 CVT- only aesthetics, except for SPT Catback. Wrapped lip & scoop matte black, clear bra, just swapped my bumper to the 2018, tints, black badges, powder coated calipers, and lastly bought a set of really chewed up split spoke bbs STI wheels, refinished and powder coated glossy black. I love looking at her as much as I love driving her!!

I turned 62 last month and when Maxwell gets my Trans. built[Albin's]I can turn this built motor up some.Since us old people spend most of the time slowly along in the hammer lane, I hope these Kelford cams and 3076 will have enough power to move over when you young folks want by.

Just because I'm 19 doesn't mean i don't pay for my parts. I hate that stereotype

I'm 39 and drive a Saab 9-2x Aero, which from the outside is bit more Audi A3 than boy racer. So far my mods are mostly suspension and drivetrain -- I autocross sometime and want to stay within STX rules -- but I couldn't resist the sound of an STi catback. A coworker of mine (who's about 10 years older than me) drives a 2002 2.5TS and she loves the bugeye look.

I wouldn't worry about outgrowing the car... the only problem might be if you've got a spouse who thinks kids require a minivan or SUV. Kids actually fit just fine in the backseat of a WRX or STi, but if worse comes to worst, you can always store it until you're old enough for a midlife crisis.

Me too!
I thought the WRX was a bit too edgy, and I was looking for something a little more grown up looking.
Of corse, the fact I had an exhaust, gold rims, and rally blue didn't help the look I was going for with the WRX, but if I went back to stock I wouldn't have wanted to keep it.

I'm 33. Stage 1 for the go and wheels and tint for show.

I specifically bought the STI limited because it saved me the step of having to remove the wing from the trunk myself and it didn't have the gaudy blue interior, plus power sunroof!
