****, you guys are built like twigs. When I was fit and trim (taped ~12% BF) I was 198 lbs at 5'8"...then again I pick things up and put them down for fun.

Lighter is always better. All about that power to weight.

At my peak race weight for triathlon, road bike racing, and running, I was 170lbs. and I'm 6'-1". But I could smoke most people in my age group.

On Topic: Killer build TGx. Looks awesome and is a total sleeper.

I'm 185lbs 5'8, but I don't think 20-50 +- lbs in a car really makes a difference, It does on a bike for sure, I have a 2013 zx10r that put down 193whp to the rear wheel, and that thing has pulled away from 600whp cars like if they shifted into reverse lol, now when racing other bikes with similar power, it all comes down to the weight of the rider in most cases.

Thank you, but the car is anything but a sleeper. obnoxiously loud, taunting plates....Prime Motoring and JR tuned decals.

About 50lbs in a car making 300whp makes a difference, the weight of another person makes a huge difference. In a car making 600whp, 50lbs may not be noticeable to the person driving, but to a digital timer it's a good bit. On the street it won't make a huge difference, but when you are lined up to run a quarter, the timing being so precise will show a slower time with that weight addition.

I'm pretty lightweight, very little fat, so it probably helps a little.

So yeah, I'm still hoping to see your car in Baytown TGx. Be sure to give her a triple checkup before hitting the road!

Bittersweet but glad you are moving on. How many miles in the end on the block? This car was an inspiration!
