Default Question about fitment of tires on 17x7.5

Someone in the classifieds is selling a set of 17x7.5 wheels with 205/40 tires... is there anything wrong with this setup? whats the average size tire for 17x7.5? Will it be a problem?

thanks

That tire is undersized. 215/45/17 or 225/45/17 are the typical choices

the load capacity of the 205/40x17 tires is too low for a WRX - highest rating I saw for this size was 84, i.e. 1102 lb. max capacity. Typically see a rating of at least 87 for the WRX, i.e. 1201 lbs. for the 215/45x17 size, usually much higher for other typical WRX tire sizes...
