Default Ignition trigger for subaru

I am looking to find the type of ignition trigger that the impreza uses. Type of sensor and pulse ( waveform) etc.
Can some one help me?

do you have the car? i think the later models uses magnetic sensors, so it outputs a waveform. i think that if you look at the car, i am pretty sure if you only have 2 wires, for the sensor it is magnetic, and if you have 3 it is halls effect.

not sure if that answers your question, and the legacy and impreza can be different but for reference mine is magnetic waveform, i know this cause i had to hook up a device for my EM to change it to squareform.
