How salty will you be if I get mine before you scoobers?! Haha

Not salty at all... I will need a ride to the dealership

But in all seriousness, my Jimmies will have climbed up Mt. Rustlemore.

SubieLuvin... Did you get a rail ship date/truck ship date yet? I wonder if ours is on the same train

Maybe the SEMI will be stopping at Hatfield first? Because you know... its a four day trip to my side of town

Didn't even ask about anything other than I now know it'll be here within two weeks. I wonder if yours will have to spend more time at port installing options ? Or maybe your dealer could be a few days behind (or even ahead of mine) on info

Hopefully you all get your cars soon. I'm glad I got into the market for a car a couple weeks ago after orders were stopped for the 2013's since I would still have to wait a few months for it to arrive. I stalked Subaru's inventory on their site for about a week and snagged one that's coming in next month and they were pretty local too within 30 miles. If you really want one soon and don't mind the few extra options Subaru loads on to boost profit margin, you can find the In Transit vehicles on Subaru's webpage. They are added (not removed) pretty quickly and sometimes before the sales people even know it.

They do that crap on purpose to milk an extra couple of grand from buyers. It irks me a little that there are basically 0 base model WRXes being imported that are not custom ordered. It is smart business on Subaru's part, so I can't really say I blame them for it.

I talked to SOA again. The guy was super helpful. He told me that they usually call dealers because the dealership is who handles the logistics of the car. He also said that their system only shows 8-16 weeks for my order from the date of order but my dealership told him late May.

Anyone else compulsively check this thread with delusional hopes that it will magically prompt your dealer to call saying your car is in?

Seems to get worse the more info. I get.

Yup.

Once I got a vin and eta it's been going slow balls. First 11 weeks flew by.

I'm very excited though. It's starting to set in that not only am I getting a nice Wrx but also my first new car. Prior to this I had a 1997 Camaro, 2003 Wrx, and a 1997 gmc Sonoma. I've never had anything very new.

My wait is over!! She arrived yesterday.

2013 SWP STi Hatchback w/ nav
Ordered: 1-07-2013
Arrival: 4-25-2013

Haven't had her 24 hours and she's de-badged and tinted.

Glad to finally be a graduate of this thread. The wait is worth it. This vehicle is absolutely amazing.

Haha, yep. Seems like time been moving in slow motion since I got my VIN, too. First new car for me as well.

I'm not sure what it will be like to buy a car that's no already rusted to hell.

Stupid question but is the interior on the STi's all black? I'm talking about from the pillars up. I know the WRX's are the two tone, bottom half black and pillars and roof are the cream color. Wondering if the STi's were the same.
