All black. A huge plus, IMO. The interior on the STi is very nice.

Alright my nasioc brethren, I have a conundrum. I need opinions. I currently have a premium hatch on order due in July. It has all weather mats, rear tray, STS with knob, interior illumination, rear cup holder, center arm rest, auto dimming mirror, and exhaust finishers. I just found out that my dealer is getting a limited hatch in the same color with only all weather mats and auto dimming mirror coming middle of may. Monthly payments are almost the same. What would you do, stick with original order and wait, and or get the limited a month and a half early???

What's the difference between the limited and premium? I have an STi on order so I'm not sure how the WRX options come, but from first hand experience I can tell you the STS from Subaru is not worth it at all as I have the option in my 06 from the factory and it is really no different than stock, go with Cobb or kartboy aftermarket. Way cheaper and much better. Footwell illumination is cool if your 16, had gotten mine done to color match my car afterwards and now I can't stand it just because imho it looks "ricey" I guess. I have the all weather mats and auto dim mirror on order with mine. Far as exhaust finishers I was going to have that option put on (SWP hatch) but decided if I really want it, ill do them later myself. But if you can get it sooner and there isn't much difference go for it, more warmer weather to have fun in!

Limited has leather interior plus hids
I'd personally rather have the limited if the payments will be the same. Add the other stuff later with oem or aftermarket equivalent if you still want it. |

With that being said I would have gotten the limited if I could afford it. |

If you are picking between the premium and the limited, you might as well pay the extra $1000 and get the limited. It's worth it just for the HID's alone since it usually costs at least that amount to install one. The STI has moonroof, HID, and leather but the difference between the base and limited is greater making it a harder decision.

Also, I know that there are kits for ~$200 (which are completely illegal), but is that $1k figure an accurate number for having actual factory (road legal) HIDs installed? |

For $300 you can legally convert the halogen projectors to hid (kit includes proper hid projector lenses)

This wait is killing me. Ive been trying to keep busy with things to keep my mind off of it. Video games, working out, drawing, watching so many movies.
Now I have rallycross to keep my mind occupied. First rallycross of the season tomorrow. Got my daily driver(Protege 5) ready for the race tomorrow It was a rally car project but it proved too costly. These puppies are going on. |
