Default Wrx is bucking

I have a 2002 wrx that has been abused by the past owners, they put an exhaust manifold that didn’t have a front o2 hole and upgraded the downpipe so there’s no o2 hole there either, I put a manifold on that has a hole for it, and made sure no exhaust leaks, now that the o2 is in, the car bucks at low Rpms and when the car is warm it kinda jerks the car all the time, I was told that the ecu has to re-learn that there is an o2 now but it’s been 2 days, the cel is gone too

My issue was coil packs I had that issue of “bucking” when I wot or hit boost in general. If you have a buddy you can ask to swap them and see your results. Also could be a vacuum line that is leaking causing the air flow to not be right when hitting boost and restricting itself also would cause a bucking in the car. Look for leaks check those coils out maybe even check your spark plugs and see what ya find

My brothers car did this when it hit boost over 10psi.

Here's what we did.
Changed spark plugs - smoother feeling on idle and low rpm's but no change at boost
Reset ECU - did nothing
Changed intercooler, Y pipe, and couplers - fixed it right away. It was the factory Y pipe had a slit in it that would only open at high boost and release it the drop and reseal, open, reseal.
Car was still hesitant and it turned out the maf sensor was also bad. I don't think the maf had anything to do with the bucking.

OP, please list current mods, as much history as you know, what codes you have, and what diagnosis you've done so far.
