I love the build. The time, effort, money and patience to build this car is mind blowing.
I love that Bennington sticker (leave it on). My gf's daughter just started her freshman year there.

Hello

I’ve got the same, but in France
I did quite the same mods…
And you did very good job

For your problem, I think it’s an « alignment » problem.

You should weld something between the « T » and the rear subframe, to hold all the rear diff in place and in line.
Not sure I’m very clear …

In fact, the « T » and the subframe would be one big piece…

Nice conversion. I was thinkin about doing the same conversion for the rear end on my bugeye. I only lasted about 2 drift events and a few months daily driving mine with the stock r160 until it exploded. Still debating if the r200 is worth the hassle or if I should just get a r180 and the dss axles. Until then I am still rockin the lil r160 that couldn't Also another alternative for the center diff spool is the ppg one from andrewtech. He can also get the upgraded transfer gears from ppg in a few different ratios, they r pretty beefy compared to my stock ones and seem like good insurance since the stock ones have a nasty habit of eating themselves when you go rwd.

For some reason i had not been getting emails about peoples posts on here....

As for the rear end... new axles were made, but a inch or so longer, installed and the car is back on the road. I agree, and am in the process of deciding how i want to tie the front T-subframe and the rear subframe together.

As for new updates:

Car is currently getting some dip to her step.... More angle from KP Race. Included are new tie-rod ends, modified knuckles, and possibly modified sway bar endlinks. Will post pictures once the car is back later this week. (if anyone knows where to get beefier tie rods made.... throw me a line, as no one makes them for our cars.)

Other plans for the near future include (before the season starts):

Cage, Front Mount aaaand possibly rotated intake manifold to keep it classy. All done by Ray at Garage Autohero

here are some pictures of the steering angle work. With the stock set-up the tire hits the frame at full-lock, in part because subarus and their awesome offset options in 5x100 patterns. The first picture is stock angle, which is 38deg on the leading wheel, and 28deg. The second is with an 8mm bolt on spacer, and the angle was not measured for this setting because we are going to bump the spacer up to 20mm, as KP Race thinks they can get it to the same 55+ degrees that nissan guys are able to get with their 240s

Alright kiddos... here is the good word.

Leading wheel now has almost 50deg of angle, and the trailing is at 38... I will post up pictures tomorrow once i pick up the car of both the knuckle and sway bar end-link modification that was made.

I ended up going with Ichiba spacers, as they were readily available, came with the little nuts that go into the spacer and hold it onto the stock hub-bolts, and was hub-centric per the application.

i really just need to go to 5x 114.3, and get better offset wheels, buuuut i will be spending a lot of money for this season, so that will have to wait.
