I used the cheap blue sleeping roll foam from Walmart. I only did a knife, but I think you could cut and stack to get thicker foam.

stacked and then board on bottom and top? Then stand on it for the weight/press?

On Sunday my dad and I took the Intro to Handguns class at Silver Eagle and we had a great time. The two instructors were really good, they took their time and really give one-on-one instruction for the people that needed it (we didn't but some other folks did). We both rented pistols and they let me swap out both pistols and keep shooting after the class officially ended for no charge (just ammo).

Between the two of us we put 100 rounds through a Glock 19 Gen4 and HK VP9. We put another 50 rounds through an FNH FNS-9 and XDM 3.8. We both liked the Glock and HK. I wasn't a fan of the controls and configuration of the FNS-9 and just didn't like the XDM in general.

Yesterday I picked this up from Virginia Arms

had fun with kydex on Sat....man is that stuff easy to work with and mold! This is my first gen attempt, which actually turned out pretty good. Need to make the barrel end wider for easier release, but not bad.

Nice work. I've not done a gun, but with knives, I use blue painters tape around certain sections to keep the kydex from being too tight on those areas that I don't want to stick.

So I compared it to my crossbreed holster and the difference is my crossbreed flairs at the end of the barrel. for now it works

Nice choice on the VP9. I've got the VP9 and VP40 as well as a HK45.

Nice...needs to be my next as my ithica is......old. Heard we busted a big number on black friday for number of weapon sales.

Currently looking for something more compact than my glock 30sf....which isn't that hard, but not easy moving away from having everything in .45 caliber.

looking at a small 9mm....shield maybe.

I love my Shield. Carry it all the time in the summer. The XD-S 9mm is also another nice choice.

Record high NICS check numbers on Black Friday.

Do you still want a small .45? My buddy's looking to get rid of his XD-S 45; however it's an interstate sale as we're in MD so you'd need to go through your FFL.

The 36 is slimmer as it is a single stack. I believe it is 6 or 7 rounds though(hence why I went with my G30sf).

!

He'll give you a good price to take it off his hands unless your concern is having the 4473 and shipping/stuff on your end.

Whats the process of getting a suppressor? I was told you'd have to be finger printed even if you're already printed and it has to be done yearly? NCIC check i guess too yearly?

Depends on how you do it. If you have a trust you do not need to be printed. Since the trust owns the suppressor and a trust does not have finger prints

Doubt it's had more than two or three mags through it. Pics? Let me ask him to take a few...but it looks just like you'll see on the interwebs. Immaculate gun, case, holster, two regular mags, one extended mag.
