Default Possibly FS: Gram Light 57Fs, 18*8.5, 5X114.3, bronze, NIB

I bought a set of Gram Light 57F's for my 2006 STi last fall, planning to get tires and use them this coming spring/summer. But, I might change the direction for my car, and am considering not using the wheels.

They are brand new and boxes were only opened to verify contents, I paid $1250 for the set. They also come with the valve stems and centercaps.

I would prefer not to ship, would rather deal with someone more local to southern NJ area (about 40 minutes SE of Philly) if I do sell them. If anyone is interested, send me a PM and we can talk.

Kev

The 57F's are a helluva good wheel for the price they started going for recently. I kinda feel bad for those who paid $400-500 per wheel back before this batch was made. For a forged lightweight 18" wheel, it's almost impossible to believe the price.

That being said, not sure what the market/desire was for these...hence why I posted I would much rather sell to a Subaru fanboy such as myself than to just take them to Ebay.

I think the word was that Rays had made a batch of these wheels for some OEM type application that never happened, and therefore they were able to be sold for less. That was what the rumor was, not sure if that's true or not. But I have always liked the wheels, and that's why I bought a set when they first started being offered at such a low price (18" forged monoblock for $1250 a set is insane).

They are 5X114.3, I don't think they made any in 5X100.

I had bought these late last summer, just have them sitting in my basement. But I think some vendors still do have some sets left, especially in the silver. The only ones that Tirerack carry now are the 17" sets, and they are something like $490 a piece.

I paid $1250 for them, and I hope to sell them for close to what I paid. I just can't see taking a huge hit on new wheels that were already a good price when I bought them. I will just take them to Ebay if need be, much bigger base there. But was hoping to deal with someone locally if possible.

Later!
