Any new updates for the 93 octane tune? Any special discounts for forum members? I am pretty much sold on this staged package and when I pick up my WRX later this year I am definitely buying this kit.

Question: I have a stock midpipe. I am looking to purchase this kit but want to know....Does it bolt up to the stock midpipe? From the pics on the website the intermediate pipe looks to have an end where only a exhaust clamp can be used. Not an oval two spring bolt flange.
Would like to know if by choosing the option that I don't have the MAP catback. Will it then have the correct connection on that end. Thank you in advance.

I'm thinking about buying the down pipe by itself. How does it sound with the stock catback? I'm looking for something rather quiet and comparable to the stock sound. Don't like to draw too much attention

There are a few videos out there with jpipe and stock cbe. I was catless J-pipe with stock cbe and I had to add a resonator to the stock cbe to clean up the sound and get rid of the raspy/hollow sound.

Overall its a little bit louder than stock when you open it up otherwise at idle its not much different other than you get some turbo spool sounds

Just need a Y pipe/midpipe that's 3 inch all the way thru. To be able to get the full benefits. If not the stock midpipe will give me a bit of a bottle neck.

OK, making some progress, not the cleanest run so far, but it was the only one that I captured. Hoping to have the tune finalized by Wednesday. We want to put the summer wheels on as these numbers are currently on my winter set up. Our 91 numbers were done with the summer tires, so that can also play a big role in numbers. Either way, we are making progress!

Any more news on the 93 octane?
Or any news on the status of the stage 2 ETA?

Hopefully finish up the 93 tune today. Stage 2 kits are going well, should start shipping them out in the next week or two! I know that's the generic response I have been giving, but there are a few fabrication components that we are waiting to get in to finish these!

This is exactly what I'm looking for. Broad, flat torque curve, no spikes, usable RPM range, 300hp/ft-lbf to the wheel.

I just gotta get out of this pesky warranty, first.

Great thought but beyond the 3/36K b-b warranty, isn't the powertrain warranty 5yr/60K?

So how long you figure the wait will be 3-4 yrs, have fun with that lol. If all is good say after 10K what are you waiting for if you plan to mod it. Get it done correct, don't drive it right into the ground, drive it correctly and you should be fine. Warranty can still be effective even if modded, case by case basis dependent soley on the issue that "could" occur but may "never" occur

I totally understand that. Come up to MN sometime, and I will let you take the car for a spin. You will be sold after that guaranteed!

I'm actually going the route my friend went with his '14 WRX. He waited till 30k before tuning. I've already broken 10k in 6 months so realistically, maybe just one more year to go
