Default Terrible idea (theory crafting mostly) but Roots on a EJ25na

So I have a spare Eaton TVS1900R off my old Jaguar (XKRS little over 600WHP) both in the sense of "lol" and "i'd like to learn, with a dash of adding life blood to the forum let's discuss this.

According to Eaton themselves the motor size for this unit is 4L. So I'm guessing off the bat, this isn't a good idea. But it brings me two major questions, one I've only seen centi setups for EJs is there a reason for that? Also is there any "niche" that makes the EJ25 want more blower? As an old school actual honda head (not F&F fanboy) They liked roots much bigger than expected, I assume it was based on revs but I digress. Even those tiny motors had off shelf options for Roots, very small options for centis (i think only one and now defunct) and clearly Hondas went turbo 99.5% of boosted.

Is there any reason we don't see roots style on these motors? Personally outside of niche use of drag I am not a fan of centis, yes I know turbo's the way to go. I won't disagree or shun them. I have nothing against turbo, I just wanted to put little info in my head, have some fun crafting and most of all, chat with some of you experts on the subies!

Could a good old junkyard Eaton M90 off a GM be something someone's fit on?

I've thought about this idea, and there are a few people who have done something similar. Here are a couple on YouTube (albeit not on an NA EJ):

This guy supercharged an EJ257. I haven't watched his videos in a while, so I don't know how well it is holding up.

And this guy supercharged an EZ30, IIRC.

The main issue with most of these setups is creating a custom intake manifold. Most people do not have this skill set. The second issue is clearing the hood. Our engines sit pretty far forward in the engine bay. Adding any height to the intake manifold will probably create hood clearance issues, especially at the pulley. Adding an intercooler will also increase the height of the supercharger unless you can mount them to the sides of the s/c. Centrifugal superchargers reduce these issues. Personally, I like the packaging of the roots/screw style supercharger on a EJ.

Obviously, since OEM turbo Subies exist, that is the easier route to go.
