Hi my name is, Sally! I have always been a car lover and infatuated with them since I was 9 years old!! Always buying car magazines, and cutting out the cars. Then telling my parents I want this car when I turn 16!

I am from Missouri, and I was always into drag racing. Almost 3 years ago, I moved to Wyoming. At that time, I had a naturally aspirated 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt. I met a few people who drove down to, Miller Motorsports Park in Tooele, Utah, to participate in a series called Wintercross. It is a 2.5 hour drive one way. This series is running the track in its natural state whether snow covered or a dry track! They begged me to go. My first race was totally snow covered. And being from Missouri, I wasn’t really good at driving in a lot of snow. I did terrible but I was hooked from that moment on. That day I noticed that the Subaru’s really owned that track! Not to mention, one of the people I went down with had one! I was really intrigued! I went to every race after that and ended up winning 2nd place in my class for the series.

I eventually traded up to a Supercharged Chevrolet Cobalt SS, and entered into a new race series called Lap Battle Time Attack! This series is actually running the track wheel to wheel with other competitors! Did I mention, I am the only regular girl participant to run this series!! I realized right away that I need to upgrade my car ASAP! I asked everyone and did research on what I could do to shave seconds off my lap times. I added slicks, a sway bar, a stage 3 kit, and the list goes on. I pretty much reached the end of the line in modifications for the Cobalt! Then I realized once again, that I needed a Subaru!

I looked for the perfect Subaru for awhile! I actually found it here on Nasioc!! And I couldn’t be happier! And now, I regularly take my 2007 Subaru WRX in World Rally Blue to the track!! My car has several modifications and there is not an end in sight!! I hope to in the future make it a strictly track only car. What I mean is big wing, gutted, Lexan windows, built transmission, big brake kit, built motor, and of course, big turbo

But for now, this is her!!!!!!

Hi! My name is Jackee. I have been into cars since as far back as I can remember. I wasn't the super girly girl child I'm sure my mom wanted me to be lol. Instead of playing with barbies I'd steal my little brothers toy cars. I would have much rather like to spend the day watching my dad working on his car or ride my bike. I was the odd daughter, seeing as my two other sisters were as girly as they could get. None the less, I remember laughing when my mom would dress me up and do my hair, for me to only show up back in the house with dirt all over and a busted knee from falling off my bike.

I have always been fascinated with anything to do with cars whether it be drag racing or autox. Once I got older, I'd attend as many meet and events that I could. I always knew I wanted something fun to drive since I was younger.. something AWD, sexy, and fast! Once the peanut eye subie was around, I fell in love! I love everything about my year WRX. The interior is sweet (premium wrx yey!), and the curves and lines of the body give it really nice contrasty look against shadows and light. It looks sik around sunset.

After driving around in a civic for a couple of years, I was itching for a subie. I needed an upgrade, and worked very hard for a long time as full time nanny and full time student to deserve it. Oddly enough, I swore to myself that I'd never get a silver car (don't know why but I hated silver cars). After months searching on the forums, I lucked out with an original owner 2005 premium psm wrx in may 2010....silver! It was completely stock except for a Borla catback. Minty minty! Fell in love with the car before we even test drove it and took it home the next day regardless of its silverness.

The last year with this car has been an amazing learning experience for me. Learning about my motor, researching, getting mods, and doing all the work between my boyfriend and I has been the best. It's been a longgg road to get to it, but I'm so proud of my car and how far I have come. I intend on saving up for a swap and build in the future, but for now I'm satisfied with my numbers for a daily driver (220hp 242tq tuned by Chris at EFI Logics). I look forward to trying out autox once my suspension is set up, and taking it for a run at the strip... can't wait to see what this second year will bring!

A dream car that came with a life lesson...

My name is Amy and I've always had a fondness for cars in general(I grew up helping my Dad in the garage) and when I first learned to drive his 95 Impreza, it was the start of a very long road of Subaru love.

Something drew me to the blob-eye STi, whether it was the looks or the massive amount of time I spent watching rally clips, I knew I wanted one. So after working my butt off for a few years I finally had enough to buy my own STi.

Unfortunately, I knew next to nothing about STis. All I knew was that I REALLY wanted one, didn't to the proper research and ended up buying a high mileage 04 STi that wasn't taken care of and three weeks after I bought it had a blown turbo and engine. So I brought it to the guys at EFI Logics in Bethel, CT for repairs, and they explained that the original engine was so bad, we'd have to start over from scratch. And start over we did, and over the 3 months of the build I learned a lot about my little Subaru. When I finally got it back(and did the engine break in miles on the 48 Hours of Tristate) I had 365whp and 363wtq and nowhere to safely play with it... until someone suggested that I come out to a track day with NASA.

The rest, they say, is history. I was immediately hooked on the speed and the fun of track racing. I bought new tires, grabbed new brakes and in a few short months the 04 STi that I had bought bone stock had become a track rat. Until the following winter when one of my injectors failed, hydrolocked the engine and I was again faced with the difficult decision of start over again from scratch. I debated selling the car, and it broke my heart, so EFI and I put our heads together and came up with a solution to get me back out on the track: a stock longblock from a 06 donor car. Problem solved!

So, I dropped almost 100 horses in power but thanks to a few of my sponsors I now have a fully fleshed out suspension setup that has shaved quite a few seconds off my lap times. The car is very balanced, predictable and VERY fun.

Its been a bumpy road, but I've met so many awesome people and learned so much, every time I reflect back I'd do it all over again in a heartbeat.

I bought my 2002 Wrx in 2003 with 26k on it. I initially went about modifying it all the wrong ways, so after spinning a bearing at 109k I dropped in a Maxwell Power built 2.5 STi hybrid motor. After the New engine I picked the car apart and started over.

She may not be the newest or prettiest, but she is fast and super fun to drive!

The last time I had the car put on the dyno it put down 324 HP and 332 TQ at Maxwell Power.
