Default oem downpipe heatshield over 3in downpipe?

anyone have any luck covering an aftermarket downpipe with the stock dp heatshield. Trying to disguise it as stock

Default oem downpipe heatshield over 3in downpipe?

Yeah. You just have to trim it on the one side. Itís easy to trim with a wizard wheel or grinder.

In fact the stock heat shield is better than ALL of the aftermarket ones. I have (had) a Cobb and itís a piece of crap. Looks good, but it gets as hot as the turbo. So whatís the point?
