Default Use conditioner or spray on fancy new purse?

My wife found a high-end purse and wallet on steep discount at an outlet store. The purse has white, gray, and black leather, and the wallet is cream color. I have Apple Brand Garde spray and Cadillac Boot & Shoe Leather Lotion. Would it be good to use one or both of those before she uses them?

Good brands of spray and conditioner you have there. So the difference between each of the applications can actually have a stark change in the leather. We'd really need to see a picture of your wife with the purse.

Have you tried slamming the purse in a door of dicks?

I find gently brushing my coin purse in a door of dicks works better than slamming it. YMMV.

I thought you were supposed to place the lotion in the basket?

I would recommend Head and Shoulders.
It cleans and conditions!

Don't forget the posteriquote in post 2. Critical to the process.

To test if they're really leather and not some imitation, take a lighter and try to light it on fire. If it's real leather, it won't do anything. If it goes up in a ball of fire, your wife got taken on cheap Chinese knock offs made of vinyl.

Anything you apply may change the color. If you don't have test material, or you care, do nothing.
