I'm no fan of mustangs at all, but this Shelby is a monster. He said 600 to the wheel.

LMAO just read Jive's post and felt disappointed by the mustang drivers reaction until you pointed out and reminded me that he has neon green wheels pretty cool look, but not something I'd ever do, too flashy IMHO.

I'd say he probably could beat him slightly from a roll, I've seen stage 2 STi's trap 107-08 at 12.6 in the 1/4. I'd say the 5.0 guy was surprised when your EWG drowned out his V8 Jive

Don't get me wrong on paper new 5.0 is quick. My sti is fairly quick until about 90ish. Then it starts to tun out of breath a bit due to stock turbo.

Honestly my car isn't anything special and I know that most performance cars would spank Me. Not to toot my own horn but I consider myself a decent driver. Guy in that mustang couldn't drive for shi. Given perfect driving he should have killed me. They put down 375/380 @ the wheels STOCK.

I'm vinyling some stuff today. Painting some other things. Ill show some pictures later but sorry they'll be taken with my phone.

Its back! I've seen your car at akuma and I'm happy you got it back. Love your hatch. You and xluben make me hate my blue sedan.

Hope to see you around. John knows his **** good choice on akuma.

Its probably in your thread, but what do you have done power wise? stage 2 plus EWG?

I also think AWD is a bigger advantage on the street than the drag strip, the mustang would probably get off the line a lot better on a prepped drag strip than a dirty road where as your car doesn't really care what you are launching on(to a point)..lol

Yayyy Dave, your back. What happened with the oil leak? I'm just glad you have your car back after all that you had done. Don't get me wrong, I liked seeing a fellow SWP hatch at Akuma , but I'm sure you are happy its in your hands now.

Oil leak was fixed, they are going over that today to make sure all is healthly. Just deciding how we are doing the Meth injection now trunk mount or standard Washer resivior. Just can't wait to get tuned the clutch is a PIA to get used but wearing in.

Which clutch you go with? Fx400? I'm assuming it chatters like a mother****er now and grips rough?

Yeah, they can. I've seen them trap 109 or so in less optimal weather. Of course, I would say that race was related to driver mod issues! Way to put that fargin icehole in his place Jive. I agree, why can't people just respect performance. Yeah you got a rather loud color scheme going on but lots of people like it, it took a few pics but I'm a fan myself lol, and it's a fast car with a little modding why dis it?

Nice. I just hit 6 because I drive a lot for work and took some long drives last month to Florida. I'm going to wait a little to build my motor though because I need to save up some more mulla haha what's your goal with the new setup?
