This is for my STI Swapped WRX wagon. My first EJ207 (Just bolt-ons with RCI 1000c Injectors, stock JDM Twinscroll stuff, VF37) popped at an HPDE track day after 5 years of abuse so I found another used Version EJ207. I installed headstuds along with all of the BCP x500 and other mods.
My datalogs shows I hit the full 27psi by 4300rpm and it holds the 27psi all the way to the 8000rpm redline. It feels awesome. Definitely lost some of the transient response that the Twinscroll/VF37 setup had been below the full boost threshold (VF37 made full 19psi of boost by 3700rpm) but still not bad. It pulls hard up top in 3rd gear and up. I love the powerband and I am not hungry for any more power. Corbin Johnson said that as long as the EJ207's are kept under 400wtq, that usually last just fine at these power levels. I also have a track map with less aggressive timing, ~20psi max boost, and still full Flex E85 and it is wonderful on track.
This is the Dyno-graph from when we finished the 93oct portion of the tune at Boost Controlled Performance.
Here is the Virtual Dyno plot based off of a datalog I did on the street, in 3rd gear, flat concrete road and around 65 Degree Ambient temps. I set up Virtual dyno to match the results from the 93oct pull when I was on the dyno, with the datalog from the dyno session. I applied they same settings for the dyno plot on the road pull at full final power.
I just tell poeple it makes 450whp to be on the safe side. LOL
Here is my Build Bio if anyone wants more specifics. There are some videos on my Instagram, @saabaru300. I hope to throw together something for Youtube for easier sharing sometime soon.
