I had my engine rebuilt and tuned by Wicked Innovation in November and I could not be more impressed with them. I towed my car from VT to RI ($630) so that they could work on the car because I trust them over other closer shops.

Matt and Tom are both great guys to deal with. As a business major and fellow vendor on other forums, I have learned that many owners and shops are just good at doing mechanic work, but not so great on the business ethic side of things. Wicked not only does great work, but is run by fair and honest guys that also want what is best for you car. I will continue to bring my car to them when I build my rally car next summer. Their customer service is also excellent.

I went with their suggestion of a 2.1L stroker on my EJ205, with a Blouch 18G-XT, and I could not be more happy with the setup. 307whp on 17.5psi, and I am going to up the boost in the summer.

Keep up the good work Wicked.

had my ups and downs with wicked - but primarily never their fault just my own terrible luck. Great guys, always took care of me. Great prices on parts, great installation and M@ has tuned my car many many times over the 3 years I had it, including 421 WHP on mustang dyno.

This also included M@ donating a spare short block when I cracked 3 sleeves on the last motor.

2 Motors and a bad turbo later I would still recommend these 2 for work.

Cons - they get backed up and at times and can take longer than expected to do any decent sized project. Keep calling and bugging tom for updates...he forgets to call you sometimes

Any good shop should be getting backed up, it means they are doing something right. If you bug them less, they have more time to work on your car

They would benefit from a secretary (how about it Angela?), so Tom and M@ could be allowed to focus on fixing cars vs answering phones. Both Tom and M@ do great work but I could see how the constant phone calls could get a little old while your head is stuck in an engine bay.

I second that. I used to work at a garage doing remote starts/alarm etc and I had no secretary. My body would be in odd shapes and hated to get out just to talk on the phone for like 2 minutes then get back into the awkward position. It gets frustrating and productivity goes does

paging angela.

But seriously... You are right.. You need to hire somebody that is willing to be a "secretary", but knows what they are doing... It shouldn't be hard, especially in this job market.

I will not only echo what everyone is saying here but will add that I had M@ & Tom do work to my car a long while ago . turbo swap, fuel pump, plugs, top mount ,turbo blanket exhaust, splitter etc all in one day . the way that these 2 guys work together is absolute butter . they compliment each other perfectly . shortly after install and tune I developed a tuning issue which come to find out was not mats fault, but, he drove down from RI to Ma 3 hrs to rectify it and wouldn't take any payment for his services now that is service with a smile . They are top notch guys and trust worthy . keep up the good work guys and did I mention that the cost uncured for all this work was well below what I had expected when it is usually the other way around . finally a performance shop that has morality and ethics such a rare find these days ...

Great guys! They tuned my old car, and I'm currently rocking a WI skidplate. Anytime I'm back home in RI I try and get over and see the dudes. Congrats on branching out a bit guys!

a quote is a quote...2 weeks turns into 2 months etc etc...this is a review thread and however I would recommend them it doesnt mean there arnt cons to any business... I have been around that shop more than a majority of people since it opened and spent more than most as well... Wouldn't of kept spending there if I thought it was bad

All feedback is good feedback, otherwise we wouldn't know what to work on.

I just picked up a used W.I. GD skid plate off a local NESIC member. I'm happy to support a local shop, directly or indirectly. Wicked's reputation seems second to none in the RI area. Everyone speaks highly of their service. I have never personally been to the shop. Although, I have recently received excellent customer service and sales response from Tom. Thanks for everything, second hand or new, great product. Check out the links for pics.

I met Matt for the first time today and he did a quick tune on my car. (after finding a small vacuum leak ) The tune is great, Matt blew me away with his overall knowledge with any question that I would ask.
Thanks again, Matt, I can't wait for you guys to finish my upgrades once I get the $$$ together.

I cant speak for WI's technical service yet, but I can say that Matt has been super helpful with all of my pre-tune questions. Very knowledeable and friendly.

I have been to WI many times. Tom and M@ are great! They know their stuff and won't sell you anything that has limited or questionable usefulness.
