Misplaced my Wheel Lock key, what do I do?
Attempting to rid my car of RE92s, I noticed that my lock is gone. It's not in the car where I always kept it.
How do I remove the lock. Are all subaru brand locks diffrent? If not, can some one lend me a Key so I can do the wheel swap? Marcin

Jeremy (HndaTach) was saying that the dealer usually has the master key for the OEM wheel locks. Check the thread about Mark breaking his wheel lock key.

Called up SOS today. They have a the master key, but they were to busy to get me in today. I have Midcity subaru not too far from my house, but I dont trust them, they would propobly cut the wheel up to get the locks off.

Marcin,
Why don't you try contacting McGard? I lost my wheel lock key a while ago and they sold me a replacement. Of course, this requires registering your locks with them when you first bought the lock set. BTW, still working on the steering wheel pictures. Can't figure out how my sister's digital camera works |

Snap-on and Mac tools both sell a tapered socket that's made of a soft steel. You hammer it onto your wheel lock, stick a breaker bar into it, and turn your wheel locks off.
They make them for locksmiths and shops and the like. Because the insides get beat up pretty bad when you use them, you can only use them a few times, but they work. |
