Default Lost my spare set of car keys...what to do?

I lost my extra set of keys/alarm fob and I have looked and looked and looked again but could not find it...might have lost it at the movies because I just happened to have the spare set with me that day. Anyway, can I take my car to the dealer and have them switch out the locks and the ignition?
Thanks.

I think at most dealers, if you give them your VIN, they'll cut you a key.....hopefully they'll ask for proof that it really is yours.....

I'd just have a new key cut, and buy a new fob. Then, reset your fob to your alarm a few times, so it clears the code of the previous fob. If someone just has your key, how would they know it's for your car? And if they can't disable your alarm, you should be ok. Unless they really want to steal it, in which case, they will...whether they have the key or not.

You can take it to a dealer and get the locks/ignition changed....but it will probably cost alot.
