Exclamation Official Contest - Sponsored by mp3car.com - 7" Lilliput touchscreen monitor

Ok, the contest that I mentioned a week or so ago offically begins today.

To keep it fair and not have anything to do with money/skill level, it will be a contest of the best DIY write-up, of course car audio related. It can NOT be something we've seen before on NASIOC. Preference will be given to Subaru content because they're the best cars eV4r, but the contest is not limited only to Subarus. Anyone who plagiarizes will have their house burned down and their children sold into slavery, while being disqualified from the contest. The details on it are fairly open. Pick something that you think you can do a good write-up on, say, an install, or a build, or a system design, or any number of other things that people could benefit from.

The prize is a 7" Lilliput touchscreen monitor, to be shipped directly to the winner from mp3car.com

There's no particular format required, to allow this to be pretty open to imagination. Ideally, post the write-up here. Alternatively, you could email it to myself or Matt A. His email is [email protected], mine is [email protected]. Make sure and include your NASIOC user name if it's emailed.

Box build DIYs have been done before, HOWEVER there's nothing wrong with trying it if it's something that will introduce something new

Can it be general car audio related? Such as how to build your own passive crossover? OR does it have to be specific?

It can be as general as you want it to be, as long as it's car audio related and, IDEALLY, something specific or at least pertinent to Subarus

Looking forward to what everybody does...we've wanted to do some detailed write ups / videos for a while now but never have the time.

Maybe as a little help post some potential ideas for everybody, things that you guys would see as useful write-ups. What's missing that Nasioc really needs?? Just an idea.

This must be like an ebay auction where everyone is going to wait to post their DIYs at the very end.

I wish I had some pictures of the install of the audio install in my A4... It turned out really nice. But I wouldn't get the SuBaRu bonus points any how

I wish I had the time, and I wish I'd done something other than just get my head-unit and speakers installed :P Only other thing was my fuse holder mount, but I already posted that up here so that disqualifies *that* project right?
