So it looks like the main difference in the STI vs WRX endlinks is that the WRX endlinks mount on the bottom of the lateral link and the STI mount on top. Also the STI endlinks are straight endlinks and the WRX endlinks are curved.

Put the car together this weekend. While I was under the rear I replaced the rear subframe, lateral links, trailing arms, axles, hubs, abs sensors, parking brake cables, trailing arm mounts, and pretty much every single bolt. Still trying to decide if I want to replace the shocks, springs, and swaybars. Seriously contemplating it as everything else is new now. Here are some pictures of the work. Thank you all for the assistance.

I finally got around to installing my Moog/SPC/Eibach/ACDelco lateral links this weekend (along with trailing arms w/TiC poly bushings and Whiteline toe lock kit). As expected, it was a bear to get the old stuff apart, but everything went back together nicely.
They have a pretty massive adjustment range. I didn't measure it, but when I unthreaded the outer portion in order to install the end link mounts, I found a small flat spot in the threads on each side. I'm assuming those are the "don't thread out any farther than this to ensure you have sufficient thread engagement" marks. I would say you could widen the track by 2" or more on each side if you were so inclined. |

I really like my SPC/Eibach lateral links. They have held up extremely well. |

Olsen that looks like a nice setup. I was originally going to go with the Eibach lateral links like you did but my buddy sold me his stock STI lateral links for $60. With them only having 50k miles on them it was a no brainer. He is also running the Eibach links like you.

Bumping this as this seems like a good option for replacement. I am thinking of ordering these same acdelco/eibach/spc lateral links.
Does anyone know if the oem 04 STi rear endlink (balljoint style) works on that style of endlink bracket or would I need to buy wagon style "C shaped" endlinks? |
