Default Just installed a LED light bar

Installed my 20" Swamp Donkey Elite Series LED light bar yesterday. its 14000 lumens and just lights up the night! just thought i would share incase anyone else was thinking about it.

i had to cut out the plastic piece in the middle of the bumper but it was really easy with one of those roto cutting tools, took all of 1 minute to get that done. the light bar fits perfect in that slot with the regular mounts that came with the light bar. came with the wiring harness as well with a illuminated switch, but i had to go buy another from radio shack because that one wouldnt match anything in my car. but onto the pics. i didnt get pics during install, but if you have questions feel free to ask.

here is where i mounted the switch. it couldnt have worked better, fits perfect and looks OEM

i didnt get an shots at night other than that one, my friend took those and put them up on IG compared to his rigid lndustries light bar. the rigid has a bit better distance, but my flood better. his also cost over $300 more

Looks rather beneficial if you drop something in front of your car at night.

Did you get the flood only or the combo?

A night shot with it aimed properly would be nice to see. Is it blinding to oncoming traffic?

This is amazing!

Can we get some shots during the daytime with the lights off?

I would LOVE to do this to my car.

Links to this bar would be great!

best night shot i could get with my cell phone. its the flood/spot combo. if you are in sight of the chrome part of the light..its blinding. its for dark roads only in place of/conjunction with the high beams.

all i did was get center of the crash bar and get some self tapping sheet metal screws and screw it in. spaced it perfectly down. they do sell other mounts that may work better.

...............I believe this was addressed way back in the day when people first started to notice this issue, something something hi/low beams concept. He stated the use on darker roads to be used in a manner similar to that of hi beams.

It's a bummer that this will so get you pulled over in CA if it is not covered up. I wonder what it would look like with a white wire mesh covering that entire openning?

Ya I'd like to have something more.... hidden? when not on. Maybe tint the bar or put some kind of black mesh infront of it.
