I think I'll have some parts coming in soon

Right now I'm looking for a cheap VF39 or VF48. Please let me know if you know of one!

Who wants to bet another custom 6 spd with an ej207 this time around? Would be real nice. Was my plan until i realized in alaska nobody sells their wrx.

In va now and see nothing but molested ones everywhere for stupid prices.

No. Not really at all. A new VF costs 1.5x as much as my PTE that I had. They are not a good value new. Used they are 3-4x cheaper and then they are worth it. If I had to pay full price there would be about 100 choices I would take before a VF.

No. 2.0L will be gone. I want a 10 second car, not a 10 minute car. Took me a while to find a mostly unmolested one. Most this age nodded or beat to crap or both. Clean ones are usually priced too high.

I've got a vf39 with about 40000 miles on it that I could let go. I can take some pictures next week if you don't find one by then.

It was from southern MN. He drove half way to meet me and I drove it home. It is in decent shape but there are dent and rust and other minor issues here and there.

Yeah, I wouldn't expect a 11 years old car to be perfect. Any picture of the underbody yet?

I would suggest a stock speedo vid if you feel it could handle it, that way you have a nice record of how the car progresses from stock. Also so I can have something to hold me over till my 2014 comes in

Stoked to follow this one! The Bugeye thread is full of some serious eye openers and always a good read. Congrats man! Is keeping it PSM in the brainstorming?

Yeah, it has normal wear and tear. No underbody shots yet.

Oh, that might be fun. I'll have to try it sometime.

Thanks. No solid goals/plan yet. Hopefully a 9 or 10 second street car. But it will be a while.

I doubt it will be an eye opener. It's not going to be a show car. I think it will be PSM for a while, but I would like another black car so I've thought about getting it painted. That's low on the list though.

Sad to see you out of a newer model, I was hoping you'd go back to a 08+ but I'm sure this thing will turn out great. Good luck with it all
