CursezZz 2005 WRX 'Trash Panda'
This will serve as some sort of build thread for MY05 WRX I have named trash panda This car has been through so many changes. From a td04 to a maxed out VF39, to a maxed out small 20g, then to a rotated EJ205 killing Borg Warner photos will be random and in no real order lol
I periodically upload videos of the car to my YouTube channel so if you care you can see dyno pulls and other shenanigans there!!! https://www.youtube.com/c/cursezzz Mods are: Exterior: STI front bumper splitters V-Limited replica lip STI fog light covers 04 5x100 BBS Wingless color matched trunk STI hood scoop OEM HID JDM STI lights -Interior: Titanium STI shift knob STI shifter trim JDM Red hazard button STI gauge cluster JDM V7 WRX seats with swapped rails for height ATI clock pod gauge cluster with AEM wideband Defi Racer Oil pressure Ver3 STI Nardi Steering wheel Engine: Ej257 long block Oem bore CP pistons King bearings Tomei Poncams Tomei Valve springs Gimmick fmic Rotated Borg Warner S252 SXE .82 a/r CNT ELH STI oil pan with killer b oil pickup AEM 3.5 bar map sensor Grimmspeed ebcs Cobb SF intake MSI solid engine mounts Invidia N1 street catback IAG AOS Tial bov Grimmspeed ewg uppipe w/tial 44mm wastegate ID1000 injectors Driveline: 04 STI 6MT DCCDpro with thumbwheels and cluster interface Jdm STI driveshaft 3.90 R180 Widetrack STI lateral links DSS 800hp hybrid rear axles (just installed) Kart boy short shifter Any and all urethane bushing offered for shifter/trans TigWerks semi-solid trans mount Brakes/suspension: STI front brembos 06-07 rear 2-pot calipers with kartboy bracket Stop tech pads all around Tein street basis coilovers Kart boy front and rear end links Cobb front and rear sway bars Turn in concepts front fender braces Turn in concepts rear x brace Stuff i have broken lol: EJ205 1 OEM WRX Axle 1 2011 WRX R160 1 Hybrid Witchcraft Axle The day I picked it up: (the car was used and already 'Stage 2' had about 70k miles on it iirc) http://i.imgur.com/86Ov7DM.jpg How it sits today! http://i.imgur.com/OVpTGjO.jpg Only took about 6 months then I swapped out the TD04 for a VF39 http://i.imgur.com/kZQoxar.jpg other random mod photos: STI Nardi wheel and STI cluster http://i.imgur.com/Ynekf4f.jpg My 04 STI 6mt and Spiider DCCDPro http://i.imgur.com/vZZaqCd.jpg http://i.imgur.com/KEDE9bm.jpg my 4 pots that I swapped in and ran for a bit next to my currently installed Brembos http://i.imgur.com/ilZuj9P.jpg the 20g that replaced the VF next to the Borg Warner that killed my EJ205 http://i.imgur.com/FNpknlv.jpg

The dead EJ205 being removed for swap

But i decided to keep going and made a large purchase....again DSS 800hp Hybrid Axles http://i.imgur.com/g1pu3lr.jpg Last edited by CursezZz; 07-10-2017 at 07:49 PM. |

so i purchased a new hot side and wet to get a retune, this time with John Kerr at Innovative Motorworks in Carlisle, PA. i can not express how happy i am with him as a tuner and his tune it self. The car drives super smooth and pulls hard.
Pic of the car on the Mustang dyno at IMW: http://i.imgur.com/G3mMrI9.jpg And the results! At only 22 psi!!: http://i.imgur.com/SZio02T.png and a couple of pulls: |
