Got to go to the shop today to take a look around. Met JJ who was super helpful. Gave me and my buddy a tour of the shop then went on to answer all our newb questions and gave us advice on our plans. He didn't just pimp out stuff he was selling he backed up everything with examples and demonstrations.

They have a WRX on a lift in the middle of the floor so they can actually show us where to install the bits we just bought. They are open till 8pm on weekdays so us working boys can get in! JJ even stayed open till close to 8:45pm giving us the tour and showing us the cars, letting us sit in the shop car and listen to the exhaust.

Even gave us a tour of how their website is sync'd to the inventory system. So what they have on the site is actually sitting on the shelf and updated on the run. Very sweet. Met Boris who is in charge of that too

I'm sold. Thanks JJ and Boris, and thanks to Drew for the phone assistance earlier in the week.

-Bryan

Thumbs up IAG Performance = Great shop, Excellent service!!!

I had some nasty rattling noises and exhaust leak problems when another shop (dealership) BADLY installed my TXS stealthback on my Saab 92-X. Not only did these guys fit me in within hours of calling, they also offered me a great deal on some other suspension bits I have been wanting. So not only did I get my car fixed, but I ended up leaving with a new whiteline RSB, Rear endlinks, Front Strut bar and set of hood dampers.

And as if the great prices and service wasn't enough, they are completely down to earth and willing to answer any questions without any of the attitude I have gotten from other shops.

All in all it was a great experience and I will defiantly be returning when it's time for my next upgrade!

Gotta 1+ everything thats been said. Everybody is very cool and extremely knowledgable. I bought my car from these guys and every time i call or show up they remeber me by name! Thats not too common for a dealer trust me. JJ told me when i bought it that customer service was thier number one priority, and i gotta say he wasn't lying! Like others have said they will give you thier honest opinion on products and dont try to pressure you in to puchases. They really go out of thier way too help you. I would definatly and do, recommend IAG to anybody with a subie. 5 STARS!

I hope this doesn't sound jumbled but it's 2:45 a.m. and I'm sick as a dog. But I've been wanting to write this since last Friday. The thing I would like everyone who reads this to understand about this shop who hasn't been there is it seems that it's their crews hobby to work on your car and give you a great experience. It is refreshingly clear that they don't want to get your car done, they want to get your car done right. And they go WELL out of their way everytime they have to, even when it means correcting other peoples mistakes, to do so. For the first time after MANY questionable experiences, at MANY other shops, I finally found a shop that when my car is in the back, I'm not acting like my child is having surgery. I'm driving the 50 minutes there, everytime

I spend almost 6 hours there last friday, along with my girlfriend (who could COMPLETELY care less about my new hobby ). I honestly (I'm sure they weren't either) wasn't expecting to be there that long but it was a completely comfortable experience. While we were waiting I was offered a rental car so my girl didn't have to wait and get bored to tears in the shop. So when I offered to pay for gas, ofcourse, "Not Necessary". When our short trip to 5GUYS, Pet Smart, and Record and Tape Traders (they sell vinal!!), we head back. There was still a few more hours to go so we kicked it on the couch and watched the big screen when I realized something. Ben Matlock was on tv. I do believe it was that moment I realized this place is it. It's a diamond. 6 hours of car stuff. No bored girlfriend......She gets her daily Ben Matlock addiction, I get to play with car toys.

Ok I'm ranting, at the end of the day, the eye candy, the instock merchandise, the display, the huge flatscreen, the couch.... its all great. But honestlly, that stuff only makes you go once unless you live VERY nearby, which I don't. The reason you go there forever is because you're treated with respect, you know you're dealing with people who are serious about these cars, you're politely educated (not treated like a noob), and they absolutely will do everything they can to make you happy with your car and the way it performs.

And for the record, I'll eat 5 Guys over that mircrowaved yuca infested steak-um sandwich at the nibbler any day of the week.

Default Thanks IAG

A few weeks ago I had the unfortunate problem of my 02 WRX blowing a rod bearing in Manassas VA 500 miles away from where I live. Being that I am in the fortunate situation of having an old beat up F150 to drive my first inclination was to tow my car home and install a new shortblock in my garage. After some thought though I decided to have someone do the work for me as I have never built a car motor myself and only have experience building cheap/uncomplicated 2 strokes.

I posted up on NASIOC and one of the first people to respond was JJ at IAG. I called him up and he explained all my options to me. After checking out a few places I called back JJ and he sent a truck down to Manassas free of charge to pick up my car.

I finally got a chance to visit the shop last week to pick up my vehicle and all I can say is WOW. They have a beautiful shop that is immaculate with a beautiful display of hundreds of parts. When JJ took me out back and showed me my car I was amazed. The engine bay was immaculate; you could eat off my motor. I don’t know if these pics do it justice but trust me everything is spotless.

Anyhoo, I ended up going with a 2.5L block, reusing the stock heads and upgrading to a VF-39 which JJ found for me used at a good price. The car runs unbelievable and the throttle response and torque is unreal thanks to a bit higher of a compression ratio. JJ and Drew hooked me up with all the discounts that they could and even threw in a couple of items free of charge.

All in all I can’t say enough about IAG. They are all very cool and knowledgeable guys, they were communicative throughout the entire process and made me feel good about knowing my car was in good hands. Normally I do all my own work and hate having other people touch my car but never did I feel apprehensive about IAG having my car. They took better care of it than myself. If anyone is ever in the area swing by and talk with the guys and see the shop. You will be happy that you did.

Oh yeah and the icing on the cake is that JJ took me for a ride in his 06 STI and not only does he run a great shop but he’s a killer driver too. His car rips and I think he left my buddy who drove me up there with a permanently puckered a@@hole from the ride.

Thanks again to JJ, Drew and all the guys at IAG. You made an otherwise bad situation for myself into an overall a good experience.

just wow..thats the first thing that comes to mind when i think of IAG. i couldnt begin to tell you how greatfull i am of them. from day one of going up there and talking to JJ and the rest of the crew, they were all soo helpfull and as kind as can be. when i first walked in it was like i had already known everyone there.
you can tell right away that they are there to help you and on your side every step of the way. right off the bat IAG saved me TONS of money. they didnt charge to have my car towed there which would have cost me well over $200, then they didnt charge me for A LOT of installation fees and a lot of other things. i had a downpipe that i had never used and they gave me a full price trade inn!!
i had an exstensive amount of work done to my car and it was in and out in half the time of any other shop. and IAG was right there every step of the way informing me of my cars progress. and when it came time to paying they were more than happy to setup a payment plan to make the whole paying process easier for me.
what this all boils down to is my car went into IAG with a ton of problems! and it came out better then new, with absolutley ZERO problems and id say running even better then when i first got it and they gave it a very thorough washing as well =] .
i could not be happier with IAG they completley exceeded my expectations. my car was in and out at half the time and cost. they have my service for life. i would most deffinitley perfer anyone to them. there business conduct just leaves me speachless at how well it is. i couldnt say enough about them. they made this whole mess so much easier for me. i am looking forward to dealing with IAG again in the future!

THANKS FOR EVERYTHING IAG

I've paid IAG a couple of visits over the last week while trying to decide which cat back to go with on my car. J.J. was very friendly and helpful, letting me listen to several different exhausts and even taking me out for a test drive in a customer's STi (with the customer's permission of course, thanks Mike!) It really helped me make my decision.

J.J. and the rest of the guys at IAG rock! It's great having a STOCKING Subaru performance parts house in the area.

Jeremy,

Glad to hear you are enjoying it. We hope to have our first production run of this External Wastegate Uppipe kit complete by the end of next week. Pricing should be very competitive. You are 100% correct about the sound. It truly sounds awsome. Enjoy!

Thumbs up

Just picked up an Invidia catted DP from IAG today and had them throw it in. Great service and pricing as always. Stage 2 is great.

The only bad thing about this shop is its a bit of a drive, but the trip there is always worth it.

J.J., Drew and the crew there are always top notch.
