Default Post your leather pics here!

With so many people asking to see pictures I will go ahead and post how mine turned out. It took about 6-7 hours including lunch. I have been customizing cars for many years now so don't take my time as avarage. You will need to have some skill at working with tools and must have a set of hog ring pliers and clips. with that said here are the pictures.

I reduced the size of the pictures for the bandwith impaired. I encourage anyone else with a WRX or any subie to feel free to post your leather pics here!

here's a question for ya. you actually kinda went the way i was thinkin for the leather kit except for one thing ( which i dunno if you can do ). i was thinkin of doing a dual material thing w/ leather and some suede like material ( kinda like on the lexus IS300 ) , but my question is can you get a material like that dyed a blue similar to on your leather kit?? it'd be nice to have the combo materials cuz 1) it'd look cool and b) your butt won't slide around as much. lemme know what u think or who i can talk to that would know about this

If you could get a hold of it you could copy the STOCK S4 and go with something like this? by the way alcantara is a type of man made suede, amazing stuff.

so would i have to get the material and give it to someone so they could modify or fabricate a leather kit for me with that special material for the center portions of the seat? what about stains on that material? i know some of the manmade stuff is supposed to be real good when it comes to stains, but am not too sure on these suede-like materials. thnx

Leatherseats.com did a GB last month, though another is forming slowly. Price was below $600, then goes up with addons. Mine was close to $850, but with heated seats.

Hopefully it'll showup tomorrow!

Yep price was $548 I think. BTW you don't slip anywhere near as much as you think.

Here's one front seat done. Looks better in person, though I need to tighten it all up a little.
