Whichever turbo fits your budget and goals. We can't answer that question for you, because we're not you. For some it might be a TD05-18G, for others it may be a GT42R on Nitrous with propane injection. This is NOT the forum to answer your question though (as vague as it is), it's simply to list turbos

Does anybody have any specs for the Slowboy Racing 20G? I'm no turbo expert and i didnt know if it was basically spec'd from every other 20g or if they did their own thing with it that changes the amount of air flow.

for the most part fp's 20g, deadbolts 20g, and slowboy's 20g, will have the same approximate hp rating, all of these have a 44lb compressor wheel and 7 or 8cm hotsides

A lot of the boost is still available at part to medium throttle. Dual ball bearings means some boost is always there even if you are lugging the engine and boost recovery between gearshifts is awesome with full boost ready even before upshift is complete as the STI lurches forward with shear enthusiasm at the onse of each gear. The 2.0L driver should not rule out the use of the GT3582R if his HP target is in the same range. is there an update to the list of the new model years WRX, STi and LGT as to what stock turbo comes with which vehicle?
to my knowlege: 08 WRX: TD04 08 STi: VF48 09 WRX: VF52 09 STi: VF48....this one I'm not sure of. |

it should be listed that the compressor housings on the 08/09 wrx are the LGT style and only bolt to the stock top mount. and that generic compressor housings will not work on stock 08/09 top mounts.

I'm totally new! I'm from Italy and I'm desperate. I'm searching for information about a turbocharger ihi vf38 (or vf44 or vf45). I can't understand what's the difference between vf38 and vf44 and vf45. Compressor wheel ind/exd are different? Turbine wheel ind/exd? Journal bearing? Or ball bearing? Someone say that they're ball bearing, but on ebay and others I see that they're journal bearing.. Thank you very much! Forced Performance - 68HTA (Bolt on) FP's newest turbo is the FP 68HTA™Turbocharger for the Subaru STi/WRX unit which out flows both the E316g and 18g wheels and allows for higher PR operation without increased compressor outlet temperatures like the existing 16g and 18g wheels. Mass flow is increased to a whopping 47lb/min which is several lb/min greater than either the E316g or the 18g wheels are capable of. Rapid spool and large torque numbers are guaranteed by the TD05H turbine section.
