Agreed x2.
1. They block the view to the apex. Drag racers only probably don't care which is why they got popular in the first place.
2. Human eyes find it more difficult to change focal length than to shift viewpoints left to right etc. Put an opaque object about 12 inches away from your face and another a few feet away. Focus on one and the other alternatively for a few cycles. Either your eyes will start feeling some discomfort and/or you'll realize the 'lagtime' it takes to focus on the object that's further away. AKA the road...

So, I'll say no to pillar mount gauges. In fact, I'll go so far to say no to all circular gauges in general! But I'm biased...

what did you think would happen?

actually, I'm surprised, in the past it was always a delete, no a full threads worth of stupidity is still search-able and readable by the masses.

Looks like I'm ditching the BB to be a Verizon Droid early adapter.

Hmmm... If the forum is SQL based, I dont understand how a thread with over 10k posts would have any noticeable impact on query response. If I were to show the forum admins a few of the databases at work they would drop dead where they stood.

I will be ditching the omnia for the same reason. I spent 20 minutes clicking the links on the droid site rotary menu this morning. Howard forums has some good info.

While they might be impressed I think they would survive the experience

Wow, version 5 Hey everyone, I'm still alive. Still settling in to the new home. Haven't started work yet due to my little mishap in May. There's light at the end of the tunnel though, and I should start working early to mid November. Then there will be money to fix the STi.

hah, me too. When I saw the free Turn-by-turn directions, we convinced the boss that the whole internet department (2 people) need to them.

Tom, check the 'hi' thread on pghsubarus; it cuts off my pics for some reason. Are my photobucket links bad or have I been ipwn3d?

Ps: forgot I was a mod. Blasted a few spam posts while I was there

So.. Whoever guessed the rx7 with the 302 you are correct... However, it's $600 for everything with engine/trans not installed so I may sell the engine a go get myself a Built and Blown 350 for it.

Fios rep stopped by. Says that direct tv doesn't supply their service and they DO have VS. I'm not cutting off my comcast if it means losing pens games. Can anyone confirm? Also, any other reasons to not switch? Price seems to be a wash

Its a PHPBBv3 thing, it cuts off images larger than 1024x768. It does not appear to be easy to edit out either.

stick with the 302. there's a LOT you can do with it, and it's lighter and smaller than a 350. unless you're dropping in an ls1, which is expensive for the headers that fit FCs.. and then you'll prolly go with an L33..

lets see. GT40 heads, intak, cam and granatelli MAF and you're ~320hp for liek 700 bucks used.. that's plenty. focus on the suspension and get a good seat. and some sweet wheels.
sweet wheels, decent paint and good stance make ALL the difference.

i know, right? like i'd ever say decent paint, huh?
