I would probably be willing to do $600 for them for Kathy's forester, need another set of wheels for winter, but I have a relatively low value because I'm only looking for kathy's car, and I really don't give a **** what she has on.

I could see a world where someone got $800 for them, but I can't imagine paying over that.

Yeah, I personally think the powder coat decreases the value. I'd maybe pay 800 if they were gold.

yeah, if they were gold and had good fitment on my car (I have no idea, I'm a wheeltard, despite jason's best efforts to explain offset and size to me, I still don't know what would fit my car these days) I would do $800 for great condition.

I do need new wheels for my car at some point, at that point, I can either turn my stock wheels into winter setup, and give kathy my older wrx winter setup, or give her the stock new wrx wheels and have her use her forester wheels for winter.

I kept my '04 STi bbs wheels as my winter setup for the LGT. They are in great shape except the factory finish was peeling badly, so I sprayed them and poorly at that. Still wouldn't sell for less then $700.

I paid $750 for my v7's with no tires, and afaik they are the exact same specs as the BBS's. in the past I've seen good condition 5x100 STi BBS's go for $1000 all day long...

Yeah, some wheels are overrated (STI BBS). I bought a set of 16.5lb 17x9 Enkei wheels for $1000, brand new. 5x120 bolt pattern which is just as weird as 5x100, imo.

Try 6x115. Like 3 choices new. none great. Very few used opportunities.

Update on the BBS wheels if anyone is still interested.

04 BBS wheels clean have gone for 800 to 1200 on this very forum.

Also, I know every detail of my wheels, can you say the same? My wheels since 04 have now seen roughly a TOTAL of 21,000 miles Not 60, 70, 80,000 miles like most of the ones posted. Any structure over time begins to weaken.

My wheels aren't the original gold or silver? Who cares, some people like the black wheels better. Just cause they were powder coated doesn't mean they are no longer rare forged 04 BBS wheels in 5x100.

I got 1,000 into the wheels, 700 in the tires, and 300 in the powder coating. Thats 2,000 total for some who might not add it up correctly. The wheels are in perfect condition and the tires have under 1,000 miles on them (daily driver so not sure of exact right now).

So they aren't worth 1,300? If not, go buy a set of forged wheels with new tires and powder coat them to the color of your liking and show me the receipt that says they are under 1,300.

Just remember he has hubs from a 2500 series pickup truck so...
A dual mass flywheel design for a truck...
I believe there are a few more truck parts on there as well.

That rig is built "like a rock"

Offset precludes using truck wheels, even the dubs, . Still not sure what the flywheel thing means or why it's so bad. 46lbs sure isn't sporty

I'm sure there's more but so far, so worth it. I do blame Vern though. Bet he doesn't mind one bit.

I've been considering 1300for 19x10&8.5 staggered Rotas, 1250 for 18x9 Team Dynamics, and 1120 for 18x8.5 Rotas, all shipped all new. 245 front and up to 275 rear will work on all 3 if u want. Obviously the cheapest is also 8.5, which makes it the hokiest way to do 275s out back. The 18x9's are silver or black though, so it's the worst color option. The other two rotas are available in hyper-black. Google "stealth gray" and "hyper black" to see what I mean. I'm not considering over 1.5k for daily driver wheels, but I think there are a few more options. Mille has a set that I grabbed one for a spare but don't really care for. Stuff is there but the cost/benefit isn't easy. So yeah, not the same as 650 for a set of 17's in all kinds of colors.
