Freakin millennials man...

I had a guy at a car meet a couple weeks ago ask how to use a forum and he said, "I don't know how to read a forum, they don't make any sense"

I was just like OMG... Facespace has ruined the world

True say, and I will add that wasn't this classic model featured in the drag race with the Porsche 928 in the movie Risky Business?

SOOOOOO...... This happened over the weekend!
Blown away! Bested the Best at the 2015 Old School Reunion show.

So cool! Proud of her - happy for Steve and for myself.
But mostly happy for my little Fuji

TWO awards now, so awesome!

I do need to get up there and visit... But I think I'll start planning that after the carpet is done

Also, I re-read the entire thread tonight. I wanted to get some perspective and try to remember everything I could about the journey so far... Its pretty amazing its been almost 8 years since this car was discovered and I got a hold of it!

It went from P.O.S. to Best of Show in that time frame, and hopefully survives for decades after this for everyone to enjoy

What was the name of that dealership on the east coast with a green FF1 in the showroom?

I was just watching the news, and they were showing some stock footage of cars for a segment, and they showed that FF1 on TV!

I have a feeling that is exactly what she did when she got the link, lol. She freaked out when she came across your camera collection. She used to have a lot of old cameras in her collection.

Fantastic. Awesome continuation to the story I started reading back in 2012. So much work and love.

Great to see some recognition for it. Good on you Subie Gal!

Not many updates as of late and I apologize for that.
Car show season takes up the entire summer and we are booked pretty solid.

but there is SOME AWESOME NEWS....
Fujiko took home BEST OF SHOW honors at the West Coast Subaru Show #17!

http://westcoastsubarushow.com/

Amazed. Honored that the judges recognize the rarity of this car and the love put into it. Simply blown away.

she. is. amazing.

Photo below with her garage-mate and Best Historic winner (our 1970 Subaru Sambar Truck)

Who knows what's next for this little car!

I do!!! Carpet and a center console!
