The closest place I trust is Yimisport in Valencia/Santa Clarita. Right where the 126 meets the 5. It's a little drive but worth it for their expertise.

Some of the shops listed are not in business anymore. Can we get an updated list?

The list has not been updated in over a year. Even then, the last update did not include all the shops commenting in the thread. Its FAR from a complete or even functional list.

If you are in Menifee I recommend Subie Shop in Oceanside.

Are there any current shops on the west side near Culver City that specializes in Subarus and/or does tuning? Everything on this list is either far away or closed. Thanks.

Got a great Dyno tune and rebuild on my STI here. Better rates than anybody I found in the area by far, even picked me up from work after they finished the tune . If your in the Riverside or San Diego area its worth a visit.

Seen some seriously shady stuff go down at Apocolypse. Work with no reciepts, jdm engine swaps with incorrect harness/ecm and no tune, blessing and installing engines with less than 100psi compression, and more. I do not believe they are BAR licensed either (not last I checked). Do your homework before dropping off your prized Subie.
