If I'm right, the impreza L has the 2.2l in it. Those engines have a better material head gasket, they can pretty much run the life of the car if all goes well. The 2.5l, they changed the gasket material. I work at a dealership, and I've seen single cam 2.5 head gaskets go as early as 70k.I actually just finish a job of head gaskets today. Sucks that the most popular engine on subaru is also know for leaking head gaskets :/
Now I'm not saying they don't last. There still a lot of variables and some cars can go years without even having a drop of leakage.

And this is how it looks after a year. No big difference. Just a few details on the outside.

The PO built a POS... the amount of time and money ive spent to get it "Right" has been less than awesome... (I could go on about bent suspension and whatnot)

So whatever the PO MIGHT say, wouldnt mean anything...

The car was on blown out D2 coils when I got it and started fixing problems...

So NOW the car handles and MOST DEFINITELY rides better than the PO ever experienced...

Another shot of the RSTi from the DRIVEN show in Winnipeg. I was hoping to see the TRUST oil cooler poke through the grill in this shot! BBS LM wheels off an R32 GTR (17x9 +20), Cooler of an R34 GTR V-Spec.
