Hey everyone i picked up my new wrx on saturday and instructed them not to detail it becuase i am nuts and didn't want someone that didn't care detailing my car, so here are some pictures from saturday afternoon until tonight, i literally just got back from driving and have 350+ on the clock already.

This is the condition i took it off the lot in

Sitting in my driveway the first time getting ready for a first clean

meeting up with a buddy and his 2013 gen coupe

meeting up with another buddy

Sunday during first cruise

love the lines of this car in person and wanted to show them off

just another shot from tonight

I need to get some pictures with my actual camera and not my phone but that's all for now.

for those interested 2015 wrx base with sti short throw, fogs, and extended armrest(which is kinda useless)

ThePuppet, congrats on the car when you get a chance can you take a few pics of the rear of the base model?

Is anyone in the Subaru VIP program and are you getting vip discounts on the WRX and STI for it or is the wrx/sti excluded?

If I had to say one thing I hate most about the new models:

WRX: wheels
STI: wing

wth were they thinking with those? I'll be at the dealer looking at the WRX this weekend regardless, just saying.

The wheels don't photograph well but they aren't great.

Home and in the driveway. Anyone want specific pictures? I personally think they should have included some of the black model in the press release photos - the lines look way clean on the black IMO.

Haha love it. I've requested the same things from my dealer. Leave the plastic on, no washes, don't fill it with gas, no front plate bracket...just don't touch it!

VIP is excluded at this time but some dealers are still honoring the pricing. Best thing to do is to contact as many dealers as you can. Dealers near me are only offering deals on orders, if you buy a car on the lot they want MSRP.

I do enjoy it but, very nice feeling compared to my old wagon. The shift is not as short as i would have thought so i have a feeling its minimal difference or the stock throw is long

I am 6'3 and find it for me to be just a bit to low for me. I guess the stock would have been useless this could use just a little bit more adjustability

Those are the stock bulbs in the fogs, i really think that its a great addition. My first time owning a projector headlight and the fogs fill in a lot of the light i was used to. I should look into aftermarket bulbs tho.

Thatís the one thing i forgot and i am 99% sure they did not use 93 when they filled it.

Seems unlikely that they wouldn't fill a turbo car with 93

they have on site fueling with one tank, so i am not sure they have 93 in there. If seems odd that they wouldn't but i have no way of knowing

Can you explain how the 'C' strip in the headlights works as far as when they're on? Are they daytime running lights? Do they stay on when the headlights are turned on?

That is daylight in Buffalo, NY! But really, I'll pull out the DSLR later and get some adequate photos when the rain stops raining.

Are you drunk? I'm 5'10" and 170lbs and the seats are way to wide. Either you are 250lbs or you haven't sat in EVO Recaros or something similar.
