Installed 22mm rear sway bar. Installed alk. Replaced a bunch of old hoses. Installed stainless brake lines and flushed the brake fluid. Put the stock intake back in. Put most of the rear interior back in. Put the dash back together. Took her out and had some fun. Ordered a 16g-xt and told her it was on the way.

It was a long and productive day. Many more to come.

2015 WRX: Bunch of bird crap was on my hood and I decided to take it for a drive while it was raining to wash it off. Got most of it off. I took a wooden stick and pryed some moths and a dried out frog stuck in my grille. I’m considering applying some blue painters tape to the leading edge of the hood scoop where the paint has completely delaminated. Most likely from high speed exoskeleton impacts. It’s grown from about 2cm to about 10cm in 6 months

I suppose you could remove the scoop and either paint it or wrap it with vinyl.

For me, took the STI for a nice drive this morning and cleaned her up real well after the drive with some SpeedShine.

Big day for me today... actually this entire week. Just took apart the top end. Installed DW850cc, tomorrow APS hard inlet, Steam STX67 Turbo and GS EBCS go on the car and base map gets loaded on.

Just put on a Cobb DP and tuned to Stage 2 93 octane. 2014 WRX 23000 miles. Very nice improvement. Install was easy no snags. Although the O2 sensor cable needed to be rerouted to make it just a little longer.

Ive been holding off buying new wheels until i found a deal like that. Been like 7 months now. Thought with winter more people would be selling.

The seller also had a set of fresh Advan rgII listed at $600. I was going to purchase them but figured I'd regret not getting the te37 so jumped on those instead. Someone must have been watching the same two sets because as soon as I bought mine the advans sold 5 minutes later (they had been listed for awhile with 13 people watching).

Use eBay for wheels. Sometimes a minty set comes up, other times it's an amazing price for an amazing wheel with some cosmetic blemishes or imperfections. It's incredibly difficult to not knick a DD wheel anyway so that stuff doesn't bother me and I won't be repairing or powdercoating any of these.

What wheels are you looking for? I can take a look for you

Awesome knob! I have been recently thinking of getting something similar. This is from Billetworkz right? They have some options as far as shape goes, which is a bit confusing and tough to decide upon without actually holding it. How do you like the feel on it?

Washed my WRX but near the end the temp started to fall too quickly and began to freeze on the roof and hood, not too badly though.. Anyway I'm glad I got to wash the car today.

Yes from billetworkz. The one i got which is lightbulb i think. feels good. Slightly heavier and larger than oem and smooth, so if you sweat may not be ideal... The lettering feels good. I cant tell if its engraved or painted on. But you can feel the texture.

Newer WRX I assume so it's 5x114? And they prob need 18x8.5 at the smallest right?

Working with older models is easier because 17s are perfect and they are so much cheaper than 18s lol esp the 5x100

In other news I got a new item in from EDO two days ago.

Had to go with a zerosports elbow because I would never use silicone pre turbo. Sure they are thick material with multi layers and extra reinforcement inside like the samco turbo inlet and intake elbow but I've seen too many flex in under boost, esp once heated by the engine. Zero sports and a discountinued hks are the only hard elbows I could find on the market so i snagged up the easier version to find off eBay.

The intake manifold and amr hard turbo inlet also came from eBay. $85 for the intake manifold and $130 for the inlet.

Now there's nothing to flex or collapse pre turbo when in massive vacuum.

Few more odds and ends to snag up once business are open again and I'll finally be able to wrap up the project and start getting tuned

My Cusco AOS arrived today. Brand new off ebay, $96 shipped to my door. Going to install this on to my PCV system while also keeping the functionality of the system completely intact (which I can't say the same for all those garbage $400 AOS)

Here's what the inside looks like

I'm going to use this can/AOS slightly differently however. Instead of mounting in the vertical position and using the bottom two for dirty air inlets and the one on top for clean air outlet, I'm going to mount horizontal and use the one port as dirty air in from the crankcase breather and the two other outlets as clean air going to my intake manifold and my turbo inlet. On the intake manifold I'll swap the hose fitting for a JDM STI pcv valve to close and open the system directly at the manifold

Foo- That looks like a quality unit. I use the Cusco front STB and brake reservoir braces on my STI and WRX. Great stuff.

For me, drove my STI this morning. I love the car so much. I am expecting the STI side diffusers and spats to arrive today. Kinda excited to finish the look on my WRX. Not sure yet if I'm going to run the rear spats or keep the color matched splash guards already on the car.. I have an STI splitter on the front.

Swapped my summer tires back to the winter set with stock wheels. Found a nice few spots of tranny fluid as well.. 😑

Installed STI side diffusers on my WRX with my kid. Forstner bit 3/8" (9.5mm) makes it all easy. Looks great.
