The question I have is if the online version will allow replays whenever we want to watch it. That's the thing about the ESPN/SKY broadcast - they don't show replays! So I'll be looking at the difference in cost of adding DVR to my TV package versus the F1 subscription.

By "replay", you mean watching the whole race again, not a specific incident, right? I'm almost 100% that will be the case. Races are all over the world and so are the fans so time zones are a mess.

They also need a "no spoiler" section like MotoGP where I can just bookmark that and start the video from there without seeing any spoilers.

Wow! Another Ferrari lock out. First back to back lock out since 2006. And over 0.5 second over Mercedes.
What happened to the mercedes party mode?

I most definitely did not expect the Mercs to fail like this..

I'm going to guess that the cold temps meant they could not turn on the tyres.

Yes! I remember many many years ago, when Speedvision aired the F1 races, they always had a re-broadcast at 1:00pm, regardless of when the race aired live. I checked my guide channel on my cable, and they aren't going to re-air the race. That's a shame. They re-air old episodes of Sportscenter and little league world series, but won't re-air F1.

Really lucked out with the location of my seat...

My boss was in turn 14 right at the end of the long back straight for his first F1 race ever so I'm glad he was able to see all the crazy ass action.

They re-air on ESPNnews at 1pm. That being said, not everyone has ESPNnews.

It's like he waited just long enough to specifically **** over Bottas and Vettel.

Yup. **** him. Riccardo can pull off crazy moves without hitting anybody.

And clearly 10 seconds was not enough of a penalty for that dumb****ery.

dont you guys mean Kyvat?

but seriously, I wish this race was fun for reasons other than the SC which only serves to deliberately put fresh tyres behind track position. I much rather see the fresh tyre advantage needing to be used in closing the gap and a pass being made than zero gap + pass.

I wouldn't have minded the SC so much if the call hadn't been made right after Bottas and Vettel passed the pit entry.

Agree, i.e they should have tried to maintain the status quo as much as possible, but that's always going to be tough with SC deployment.

They could have gone with a VSC before calling for the SC.

This season so far been team strategy brain farts.
First Mercedes gifting Ferrari with two wins.

Also why didn't Hamilton and Kimi pit with newer tires during the SC?
Who's calling the Mercedes' race. This is the third screwup in a row.

Seems like Whiting was napping on the job again. There was too much debris for a VSC.
This happen almost in front of Bottas and Vettel. They crossed the s/f line twice before the SC was deployed.
