Default ej205, trans, rear diff, etc part out.

Hello,

Swapped my wagon, and have a bunch of stuff I need to get rid of.

2002 WRX Parts have 172k miles on them. I have almost the whole car for sale, minus the shell because I gutted it and replaced everything with parts from a donor STI.

I have the complete running engine (ready to drop in with exhaust manifold, td04, engine harness etc. still bolted up), buttery smooth 5mt, rear diff, axles, driveshaft, all suspension arms and subframes (except dampers/springs), brakes, body wiring harness, ecu, accessport v2, Cobb catback, the whole shebang. Looking to get $1850 obo for everything, make offer on individual things.

Sti seats & HKS exhaust pictured are sold already.

Local pickup only. Most parts are in storage in Vancouver WA. Will make a great deal for someone who agrees to take ALL of it.

PM if interested.

yellow tape on the shell was just to keep pine needles out of the cracks while I had it outside since I live beneath like 5 big pine trees. There's nothing wrong with it, just looks weird.

Sorry, the shell is gone, but was wingless anyways. I have a spare wingless trunk if you are interested. It will need to be repainted though. Its currently painted PSM, but someone plasti dipped it and then spray painted on top of that, so its hard to peel it off. Very straight though, with a couple minor dings.

I mean, I'm interested, but at 180k, the engine and trans both likely need a thorough inspection and likely a decent amount of refurbishing.

Obviously the parts aren't in a car anymore, so nobody can test drive them. Do you have compression and leakdown numbers for this engine, performed at a reputable shop and printed on their letterhead?

Like I said, I'm very interested, but there are too many unknowns to make me comfortable pulling the trigger at your advertised price point.

Shoot me an offer. The price above includes many things needed for a complete swap, not just a motor and trans.

I do not have any compression numbers from a shop. But I checked the compression on it last time I did the plugs (at about 162k) and it was 120 psi on all 4 cylinders, cold engine. I'm not interested in ripping anyone off because it will only come back to haunt me later. I only have positive feedback on itrader if you are interested in checking. Always used either Amsoil 10w30 or Rotella T6 for oil. Always changed at 3-5k miles. the clutch is an Exedy OEM replacement that was installed at 155k. The factory installed clutch was still in there if that tells you anything about how the car was driven.

I would be willing to give you your money back if you get the engine installed within 30 days of purchase and come to find its blown. It ran very well when I pulled it out.
The transmission was the smoothest (subaru) 5 speed I have ever driven, and needs nothing. I always ran it with 3 quarts of Motul, and filled the rest with Redline lightweight shockproof. Redline fluid in the rear diff.

The miles are a bit high, but it was always taken care of. This was my only car for 5 years.
