![]() As long as it's a B25 head you'll be fine.

![]() This is much needed info for me.
My 2011 wrx has a D25 003 and a D25 002 so I’m just wondering is it ok to have 2 heads that are D25 003? I ask because A friend of mine has an engine laying around with good heads but I’m concerned about the numbers and if something might not match up correctly if someone could please hook me up with some knowledge it would be greatly appreciated. I just need to know the difference in the 003 and 002 |

![]() The second number is the casting series I believe. Just like the EJ25 blocks also have the 700, 701, 702, 703,704, etc casting series numbers, the are all essentially EJ25 blocks but from different casting runs. Same goes for the heads.
