I Had 48 hours to install the Aquamist and tune the car with the new Link G4 which was my first time using the new Link. (I prevsiously tuned my own WRX with LINK back in 2002).

The LINK ecu is the best and most user friendly and functional I have used to date - it simply kicks major ass. Within a couple of hours the car was running almost as good as stock and was out doing 100 mph tuning runs.

The FP Red was maxed out at 29 psi and breathing hard and we ran out of 800 injector with two Aquamist nozzels - I would estimate approc 520 whp.

The car ran 12 passes down the track in mid 90 degree temps beatinga ll other cars to claim the race and the title as the fastest street car ever to run a track in Paraguay.

Later we did some deserted highway pulls and burried the speedo all the way down and around to 8,000 rpms in 6th gear for about 2 minutes - cant beat Cosworth engines - really amazing stuff

I saw a **** load of JDM Subarus down there and Subaru is the most desired and respected car there by far. Pleanty of 1999 STI's and WRX's - Legacy B4 twin turbos, new and old Bug Eyes and I tuned a 2010 Legacy Gt also - great car if not a bit on the heavy and understeering side

Will have videos and pictures to follow

All the best

Al

The G4 is without any doubt the best ecu I have ever worked with by far

Its packed with every feature you could ask for, great data logging and its laid out in a rational and intuiative manner which makes sense and is easy to use. It runs perfectly and there are no bugs or problems. It was a huge relief and pleasure to work with.

Kudos to LINK

The AEM is also very good, however, the Link runs a lot smoother and more like stock in terms of driveability and the "feel". It remains to be seen how the Series 2 AEM works - do not think those have been released for the Subaru yet.

I could not have beeen more pleased and satisfied with the function and softwear of the LINK.

The car owner plans a Gt35 R kit, 1200 injectors and more power soon.

HI this is my 1st porst here , i just wanna say that Al makes a great job on the STI 07, it sounds great and it feels like need wings to fly, the track we use for drag racing got like 40 years old and the grip is really horrible, so 7.5 is a great time, actually is the best time here in paraguay for a street car. seeya

Al, without a vendor account you can't post more than your own personal car. The owner will have to post this on his own. I closed one thread before for the same reason. This is number two. Three strikes is going to get locked and deleted without explanation.
