Default Romraider Logging cuts out at WOT

Hi all,

Heres some preliminary info:
02 wrx with v8 ej207.
Working with an E-tuner
Log of the time-skip attached
Tactrix OP-2
Windows 10 laptop. 4gig ram.
Romraider states my logging speed is around 3.6 s/sec k-line SLOW

Driving logs are fine as is flashing but the logging seems to stop around the 4k rpm mark in romraider while doing WOT logs. This is 'solved' by reducing my romraider parameters to like 5 or so, which isn't enough to log like I need to. Looking at the log you can compare the time column with the Throttle position column. When throttle position is at 100, the time skips happen shortly after.

Things I've tried
-A **** load of inline ferrite chokes
-Separate body grounds for the 4 and 5 pin on the OBD port
-Pushing pins in on the OBD Port
-Reducing parameters (helps, but etuner states we're at his bare minimum)
-reinstalling romraider/openecu and confirming latest java and definitions
-trying to use sample groups in a new logcfg.txt (attached) Made the issue worse...my fault probably as I'm a bit over my head with all that.

Anything else I'm missing or can try?

Thanks much.

Try this and let us know.

Ive had similar issues but it just snowed in may... no logging for me

Set the Logger definition file to use, make sure the car_def.xml is in the same dir.
Set the log output location.
SSM K-line needs to be selected.
Make sure everything is connected and the car ignition on or engine running, then start the Logger up.

Have you tried a different USB cable? Mine failed once and I had similar issues.

I had the same problem. Logging would quit after 4k. My problem ended up being a bad spark plug insulation. The porcelain cracked and was arking.

Secondary note: I did a dumb and purchased Iridium plugs from Amazon AND ebay and (big surprise) they turned out to be knock offs. Buy these from reputable parts stores only.

I had a similar problem, a ground by the injectors rail was not connected after changing the injectors, it was reconnected and the problem was solved, check your ground connections
