Unhappy HELP 2011 wrx BROKEN HELP

SO I have a 2011 WRX with 12,550 miles on it. I got it pro tuned for the second time with a AEM CAI, PERRIN BOV VTA and DOWNPIPE. Three days after the tune, I was stuck in traffic and people next to me wanted to hear my bov, so I rev'd the car up and it lost power. I turned it back on and it started to idle bad and pour out white smoke/ blue/ black smoke. I tried to drive 5 feet and it just died. I had to restart it and it died over and over again trying to move 5 feet. I finally got it on the side of the road and let it sit and it was fine after 15 mins. A WEEK LATER, I was on the high way, down shifted and drove it up to 90 mph and it lost power like the first time and did the same exact thing, BUTTTTTTTTT this time it wont clear up. I towed it to the dealer ship, for free, THANKS SUBARU, and it ran p0301 p0302 p0303 p0304 codes and poured out black smoke. They said its the tune dumping too much fuel in my car. Other people have said its either the BOV, or MAF SENSOR. What could it be? Its being towed from the dealer to the tune shop. HELP

Sorry to hear that man!! I guess the dealer knows about your tune now.. Speaking of, did you do some research on this 'tune shop'? I hope there is no serious damage. Good luck.

^^^ someone retarded if he didnt smack the OP in the face for putting a 100% BOV on a draw through setup. ya id say your rich! everytime you lift off the throttle your dumping fuel because of the BOV. take it off! i plugged my BPV return hose and let my stock BPV vent to atmos. i couldnt even make it around the block!! why people keep doing this is beyond me!

100% agreed, but that does NOT explain the colored smoke... Here's to hoping it's that simple!

Those are all misfire codes for 1,2,3&4 cylinders. But since you have a new car and it's all tuned and pimped out and you're showing off for peeps I bet you are rich and don't have any payments on it so this shouldn't be a big deal whatever it is. Good luck with the warranty!

i recommend starting with a compression test to see if the motors internals are working properly, but i agree with the other guys the bov does more harm then anything. GL

hmmmm, misfiring plus running rich equals cylinder wash which equals major engine problems?

in other words... potentially you're ****ed because you had the bright idea to put a bov on...

Thanks guys, and no I am not rich hahahaha. The tune shop told me to get rid of the bov first before I got it towed but my friend already had the tow truck on its way. AAA gold free tow.

Also the dealer is chill and said they will still cover my car under the warranty. They checked the car out and said there is no damage YET and told me to tow it to the tuner and get them to look at it.

That sounds unlike any stealership I have ever heard of.

But I hope it's something simple and it works out well for you. Sorry for the negative vibes. I just hate seeing people doing exactly what you said you were doing when this happened the first time. ****ing show-offs.

Why would companies sell BOV VTA? I posted to get opinions from experts, not dicks.

I spent a lot of money on two tunes, the first was perfect, then they told me to get a downpipe and BOV. I got the product and retuned it and everything was fine until three days after.

the reason they sell them is because they want money and people will buy them.

you came to the wrong place then. are there really still people out there who think the internet is for trading information?

just out of curiosity, what was your main incentive for applying a BOV?

the fact is, they hold boost better.
the other fact is, they make you run rich at some of the most inopportune times and do all sorts of other weird things.

Sounds like you didn't research the use of a bov on our cars enough. Before i ever owned my wrx my buddy with his 04 wrx said not to get one and just keep the stock style bpv or the car will run like ****. You can get a aftermarket bpv thats a full recirculating one of course.

Well? They sell stuff to make money. It's simple, check here. http://dont-tread-on.me/decentralized-manufacturing/ You only think you need it. I'm just a dude that owns a WRX, not an expert. I'm a NOOB too! But if I were an expert I would call you an... Once again, good luck with that "chill" stealership you work with, I hope your tuner and them work it all out.
