Why do I read a whole page of blah blah blah by Indocti Discant?

What the ****, it's a blind corner and this is F1 not Formula Ford. Did you just come out of your Airstream in the infield of Bristol?

Having been on track 3 times now I can say it's one of the finest I've seen. And yes ID, I have visited and even raced on many tracks including international ones.

I got $$$ that 9/10 drivers would vote for more corners like that.

Interesting interview with Jenson's trainer/physio guy. It's always cool when you could get a little insight into the day to day stuff

Looks like the hammer just came down. Multiple sources say Hamilton has signed with Mercedes for 3 years and $100 million. Perez to replace him at McLaren.

I'm prepared to eat crow.

Also, Alonson pulls some amazing tail, as he should take full advantage of.

whoa..

Is Mercedes really going to rise and be amongst the challengers? Interesting. I guess Hamilton thinks so.

wowza, if the telegraph numbers are right (3 years for $100mm) that would be twice what Mclaren is paying him. I can see why you'd jump ship for that.

I expect them to still be a 4-5th place team next year with him dragging them up as much as he can like Alonso does with Ferrari, but 2014 is what this is really about.

Sky said the merc deal isn't much more than the current McLaren deal, which is crazy. I can't believe he's leaving a top level team for a mid table team. I really can't

yeah, ill reserve final comments for later, but from what I've read Mclaren's offer was in the range of 10mm pounds a year. The $100mm 3 years, doubles that. lets see how the numbers break down and if this means Mclaren gives up on him this year.

Key difference is personal sponsorship. Sure, you can make 10M/yr being a top driver, but you can't make the Schumacher/Woods/Beckham money without the personal deals.
