Default #throwbackthursdays..My 2002 WRX, 4 years later.

Tomorrow marks the 4th Anniversary of owning my Bugeye.

Of course, I do not have photos of the car completely stock, because, well, I wasted no time modding it!

The car was quickly lowered on JDM V7 STI Suspension, Painted Headlights and a set of 18x9 G-Forces.

A lot has changed along the way. Over half a dozen sets of coil overs, over 2 dozen sets of wheels. From basic, to slammed and stanced, and now onto a track ready setup (yes, the car sees track time in addition to being daily driven and hard parked). This car has changed my life and who I am far more than anything else ever has. What I do for work, the people I know, my best friends, all met via this car. Its pretty crazy to think about.

Right now she's awaiting for parts to arrive for a 6-speed swap!

Congrats on the Anniversary! Funny how inanimate objects can affect our lives the way they do. Been following this car for many years. Awesome to see again all the different forms its taken.

Also glad one of your two dozen sets of wheels can live on on my car

Full 04 STI Drivetrain swap is being worked on right now.

After that its seat time, seat time, seat time.

Right now she's running under 200whp (Mustang Dyno). Just a simple low boost Stage 2 map. And even such, she's still a lot faster than Im able to drive (on the track)

Ive always loved this car! i saw it in person at WBM a few years ago after seeing it on the forums a bunch of times, and it really shows how great these cars can look, and why i love them so much. very well done sir.

If I say VLN, does that mean anything to you? It's hard to tell, but I think I've seen this before.

That's who I thought it was. Nice car progression, didn't realize it had changed quite that much.

Nice car!

Wow, thats a lot of dedication to one car
Now the true question is, what is your favorite set of wheels and why?

Exactly^. With so many different wheels, what were your favorite, and why. Also, i see you perhaps get tired of one look fairly quick- what was your favorite look? Would you go back to any specific one? Is this car a different color? it is black in some pictures, and almost looks grey in other pictures, & flat/matte black in others...
