Default 2011 WRX wheel help

Hey guys I want to get a nice set of summer wheels for my 2011 mainly for aesthetics. Stock ones are at 22lbs 17x8 and 53 offset. I was wondering what size wheels I should get if I don't want to hurt performance too much but perhaps increase handling. Basically I know I want 18's, I was thinking 18x9. Also, how far can I sway with the offset? I want to bring the wheels out more to be more flush, but I want to do it safely. I saw Rota DPT's 18x9 and they're nice and lightweight, but I don't like how they're not concave. Then I saw Rota G force's which look amazing, but then when I found out the weight, I was a little dissapointed. Any advice? What kind of wheels should I be looking at if I'm on a budget? Thanks for all the help.
