Default Calling the dealer tomorrow.

I searched online and I finally found a dealership that has the 2011 WRX premium in black os. Going for 30,299. Just fyi, this is literally the only wrx I could find that is around me.

I will be calling them the moment they open so I can find out if this wrx is really there or not. If they do have it, I plan on leaving the moment I hang up.

Is there anything I should know beforehand that could help me during my deal?

I realize the 2011 wrx's are in short supply so that can basically explain the raised msrp.

I appreciate any positive advise.

Right now there are 25 4 Door Premium Models due for this months delivery. There are 14 5 Doors due this month. For the whole US.

I can't say what is available that hasn't been sold reserved yet.

I thought about waiting for the 2012 but I want to get this car stuff out of the way.

Yeah that's true, i completely forgot the msrp of a premium.

What kind of promotions do you think I could get?

You aren't ready to buy at all whatsoever. You are asking about promotions when you can find that out yourself on www.subaru.com so you NEED to read the Car Buying FAQ at the top of this forum stat!

Okay thanks. I'll be reading over that now. I'm assuming the promotions are stuff that involve apr, monthly leases and finance right?

You should be able to at least talk them down to sticker. Especially if you are serious about purchasing it. Or try finding a nearby dealer that can give you a better deal on it if they can get it from the dealer that has it. I know this sounds hard, because I just went through all this a couple weeks ago picking up my WRX.

For that price you should be getting a limited. Thats crazy... oh well Its your money. You might as well pony up a lil more and get an STi.

Just so everyone in the thread understands, you can equip a Premium Trim well over 30k quick.
For example:
Status: Scheduled Retail MSRP: $33,004.00
ETA Date: 08/16/2011
E0I (E0I) MEDIA HUB
CBA (CBA) SPT CATBACK EXHAUST WRX 5 DOOR
T8D (T8D) STI SHORT THROW SHIFTER 5M/T
Y8I (Y8I) BUMPER COVER- SW
K8F (K8F) AUTO DIMMING MIRROR/COMPASS W/HOMELINK SET
K8H (K8H) CENTER ARMREST - GRAY

Any car with a catback, short shifter, xm, NAV, etc., can get over 30K

It seems to me that you haven't done your research and your gonna get rapped by the stealership. Anyways, go to edmunds.com and you can build your own premium wrx. You can add on and copy all the extras equipment installed (exhaust, short shifter and etc) from the car you looking at. Edmunds will break it down on how much you'll pay for invoice vs msrp. Also, they will show whats the median on how much people are getting it for in your area. I bought my car the end of July and subaru was offering 1.9% for 36 months 2.9% for 48-60 months for credit > 700. Also, you have to factor in the dealership fees, tax, tax/tag, extended warranty's. It took me 5 days to seal the price I wanted to pay with all the b****it. I guess the car was meant for me or waiting for me because it was the only lightning red premium within 100 mile range. Good Luck!
