Aftermarket radiator, add OEM Coolant?
I read through the FAQ Sticky, and it did not mention having to use the Subaru coolant when switching out to a aftermarket radiator. Does it still apply? Or can I use another coolant? If I can use another coolant, do I still need to add the additive?
FWIW, I am considering purchasing the Koyorad. Thanks -Jeff

Stop skimming and start reading.
Radiator types have nothing to do with coolant or conditioner. Your car is 900 years out of warranty so use whatever you like. If you are a boss, you'll use the same coolant type. You can use the conditioner if you like....if not, don't....either way it matters not. |
